I'm going to call again real late on Friday before they leave for the weekend. I'm having a break until then because I can't handle ringing up and keep being told the same thing

U always have that option, so do we...it is just we are really impatient in this specific issue...I remember calling NVC 15-20 times just to know if they have generated our AOS bill and DS 3032...he he he...

I did the same to find out if the DS-3032 had been generated, and then to find out if my case was complete. I'm itching to call to find out about the Interview scheduling, but I know its too early in the day to find out. Maybe in a couple of hours... :whistle::whistle:

Good luck Sonia. I am still awaiting for the PCC and then hope to join you guys in this delightful wait. But my wife's date will probably be pushed back to May or June due to the delay with the PCC :(

Hello everyone!

My case has been completed at NVC on 03/05 and I'm hoping for an April interview. How long after they complete it we can get an interview date? I'm anxious about it because I have a k-3 appointment for the 24th but I want the CR1, so if they send the documents to the embassy now, I may be able to switch the visa type, I hope.

Finally we're getting there!!! :dance:

DS 3032 sent by e-mail and snail mail - 02/02/09

NVC replied my e-mail confirming my choice of agent - 02/06/09

AOS bill received - 02/07/09

AOS bill and IV bill paid online - 02/07/09

AOS and IV display the PAID message - 02/11/09

since your case is already complete you don't you contact the embassy so that they can make the switch from a k3 to a cr1? I am not sure how it really works, but i have heard of many cases where they contact their embassy and request the switch. They then contact NVC and request your files.

4-29-09 Interview Date (Called AVR on 2/26/2009 and it said all documents sent to the consulate in KTM, Nepal. Also, talked to the operator on the same day and she said the interview has been set for 4/29/2009 and should be receiving the interview letter soon).

Much Congratulations to all those who have gotten an interview date. I am in joy to announce that I am also part of those who received an inteview date which the the 15 of April, @7:00AM. :D

Thank you Allah so much for this gift, truly she is a gift from You to me and the one who completes me and is my better half. :)

Thank you VJers for your support and thank you for being polite and kind with me and patient with all my questions and concerns. Thank you all and God bless you all. I can not wait to tell my Queen about the news. But anyway, the countdown def. begins now. :)

mmm... I haven't thought about contacting the consulate so they could request my files. But I'm not sure the embassy in Brazil will request the papers... But it is worth to try.

Anyway, I will also try to call NVC again and see if they have set an interview date already. KingAbu had his/her case complete on the 5th too, so I should have an interview date. By the way, congratulations to those who can already plan their trips!!!!
