NOPE the operator said I am not in the system GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

same here....I was told they have the file, it just hasn't been input into the system :wacko:

Ok, so I just called NVC, the interview has been scheduled for April 22nd!!! The countdown begins :dance::dance::dance::dancing::dancing::dancing:

i just re read the first email fomo amman. they do schedule and then send the first packet. I knew i wasnt loosing it :lol: so this def sounds like no packet 4 in Amman for k visas

Once we receive the paper file, we will schedule him for an appointment and send the package of instructions to the mailing address mentioned below.

Cool...so no wasting time on the dumb checklist for the packet3. If you need a checklist, let me know and I can send you the one from the Mumbai consulate.

NVC schedules interviews the second week of every month, for the following month. So if your case is complete by the end of the first week of the month, you will be part of the pool that gets scheduled for interviews for the following month.

For example (my case)

Case Complete: March 4th (Case complete by the first week of the month)

Interview Assigned: March 9th (Interview scheduled second week of the month for the following month)

Interview Date: April 22nd

Okay ... now this really sucks ... I just called the NVC and was told our case is in A.P. with no reason why or timeline when it will be done ... :(

I was told that "some cases just take longer to process" ... which means there's a snag and I don't know what it is :cry:

Good evening everyone :D

I did my gardening today...I'm sore as hell now. I feel :dead: I was so tired, so I thought getting out into the sunshine and moving around would help. I busted my back now I'm in pain :wacko: Yard still looks like ####### :( Seriously, I just need my husband to get here. He can take care of this and I won't have to worry about it.

Holliday, thank you so much for your kind post. I'm happy to tell you that CR-1's get processed faster, and being with California service center gets processed SUPER fast! So hopefully you won't have to wait long at all.

Steve...when was your approval again? Count 51 days after that. Seems like almost everyone gets approved on day 51 for whatever reason. I'm thinking you've already passed a chunk of time. So sorry it's been so slow for you! What good is being from Cali if you can't zip through this??? :D

For the person who asked what we'll do when hubby gets here... smiley_humping.gif:lol:

I found some NC 17 rated smileys :lol: But I won't post them here so as not to offend anyone :lol:

03/05/09: K3 and I 130 both approved! FINALLY after 230 emotionally trying days @ VSC!!

03/06/2009 : NVC Received; 03/09/09 Case Number Assigned; 03/10/09 K3 stuck in AP

03/17/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills generated (by email @ 10:00 p.m.); 03/18/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills paid online
