Yeah Steve, I understand. This process is tough emotionally and financially. Lucky for us we had paid our lawyer upfront for everything so all we have to pay for right now that's left is the medical and hubby's airfare once we are finally done! I wish that day was visible on the distant horizon!

Jen, funny how u told her u could have walked the files there lol Forget that 4-6 week thing we keep gettin the same for our I130 but we know better from other Vjers. Most get their AOS bill 8 days later. 2-4 weeks...4-6 weeks, yeah right! pffffffttttttt

With the AOS Bill and DS-3032 being emailed now, it makes it easier, no waiting for the postman!! Just make sure they have the right email addresses in their system

He he leave it up to me to call NVC every day and ask if K3 is in AP and CR1 is not lol And repeating our names, birthdates, phone # and emails. I never get tired of it. Makes me feel I am doing something cz at VSC we couldn't call and harrass them or ask about our cases so I am having a ball now! I wrote a long list of qs today and when I called NVC I recited them back to back. The rep probably thought What's with this applicant, so thourough and curious... Yep that's me, just don't ask me to sit aside and cross my arms That's why I am in a so much better mood now that I feel we are moving (depsite K3 being stuck) ....at least something is finally moving, after 230 Hellish days of standstill at VSC!!

oooooooooh gotta loooove online banking and online bill paying and evtg else online, esp when it comes to speeding up this whole visa process I miss my hubby

BTW got both my approval notices in the mail today.

Where is Narina today?? Haven't seen her around....

I made sure when I spoke to the rep at NVC that they had the correct email address, she even read me back my cell phone #, good huh!!

Jenn, don't pay them reps any attention don't take it personally, you should've hung up and called again and maybe would have gotten a much nicer rep. when I called yesterday and today I got the same sch peal about taking a few weeks. I don't see how ur files are not there, you got approved before me...anyways, hang in there guuuuuuuuuurl!

Steve, I feel your pain, money is tight, look around your house and see if you have anything to sell to come up with money if that's going to get you closer to your wifey.... craigslits works wonders

MKG, you gotta cook one of these days and invite all of us for dinner...hehehe or at least pass around some recipes

I bigleagued Amman today and sent them an email saying basically: I think the file was received on the 6th and signed for by _____, please advise. oh and I asked that if it was there can they please email me the packet contents and interview date.

Okay guys i was out of town for only 2 days and look at this 10 more pages to this thread. lol

well its kindda late so im not gonna read everything just wanted to say congrats to everyone that got their approvals / visas while i was gone, and for the rest of us - hang tight we are almost there...

we are now 5 days away from our interview date and im gettng more nervous by the day :\ if everything goes the way we planned me and hubby will be together in exacly 2 weeks. so pray for me guys

I bigleagued Amman today and sent them an email saying basically: I think the file was received on the 6th and signed for by _____, please advise. oh and I asked that if it was there can they please email me the packet contents and interview date.

What I did is called the consulate directly and I asked to speak to an american, all those macedonian jerks wouldent answer anything for me.Just told them the stuation and i asled if they have recieved the case. they asked for my and my husbands name and dob and they gave me info. hope this helps

You can use the date the embassy says the sent your case to the embassy, as the tracking reference date, and then do a search on DHL. The format to use is "EXP 07 OCT 2008A" don't forget the spaces...and to set the date range on the tracking page. The website for tracking is. http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef The package may not go out on the next day, but the reference code will still be for that date. When your package is able to be tracked, it will make more sense. You'll see a list of packages going to different embassies. You'll know which one is yours

i don't get how to track it....mmmmm
