OMG! this thread certainly has blossomed - havent been on to VJ but for a few minutes all day & I have lots of reading to catch up on. :wow:

Hopefully I can find where I left off yesterday, trying to keep up with everyones experiences of moving from VSC to NVC!

Just got off the phone with NVC. I had a feeling...YEP we're in AP also. Seems almost unavoidable, but I had prepared myself for it and something told me to expect it after Lisa and Steve got stuck in it. I will be thankful if we got out by the end of April and hopefully my hubby can still get a late May or Mid June interview and be with me in time for our first year anniversary.

I won't get mad, I won't cry. It's just the way things are for us at this point. Disappointed yes, but we gotta go on. Better we found out right away too as opposed to be slapped by AP a week or two later of waiting and calling NVC every day.

Much rather be in AP now than after interview or later. The counting clock starts once again 00020352.gif

03/05/09: K3 and I 130 both approved! FINALLY after 230 emotionally trying days @ VSC!!

03/06/2009 : NVC Received; 03/09/09 Case Number Assigned; 03/10/09 K3 stuck in AP

03/17/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills generated (by email @ 10:00 p.m.); 03/18/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills paid online

03/27/2009 : AOS/DS 230 package sent to NVC; 04/02/2009 : AOS & DS-230 entered into NVC system

04/14/2009 : Found out K3 was forwarded to the consulate in Leb and CR1 stuck in AP; 04/18/09: K3 delivered

04/20/09: WOOHOO CR1 already out of AP; DS 230/AOS accepted with no RFEs!! Sign in failed on NVC payment site.

04/21/09: MAGIC CASE COMPLETE @ 4:30 P.M. THANK U GOD!!!

Still lurking and waiting for NOA2 from Vermont. Hoping to hear something in the next month or two. Me and hubby are going certifiably insane. :wacko:

Sounds familiar. We always joked they need to build us a nuthouse near the port of entry for when we are finally reunited. Cz judging by how long it takes to be back with our SOs, we most likely would be certifiably insane :wacko: Good luck and hope you hear the much needed good news soon. We just got ours after 230 longgggggggg and agonizingggggggg days!

Finally! Got through to NVC and got both my IR1 and K3 case numbers....041.gif

NVC informed me that my K3 was sent to the consulate today woohoo!!! Too bad we are not persuing the K3!!! 000201DD.gif

GS- #######! I'm so sorry. Well, the NVC AP's take usually 7 weeks. I think almost everyone gets done with it in like 51 days. The AP post interview is the one that can take forever an a day. This whole process is like fighting0024.gif

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

I just called again..... NOTHING.. They said to call back in a few weeks...... ARE THEY JOKING???? my file is probably on the bottom of the pile AGAIN.

I hope I can bypass AP since I waited 8.5 months for them to even look at it.
