K3 FAMILY - HANGOUT, week of March 09

I'm just damn tired...

I think she means if you get your CR-1 finished, you can't continue with the K3. You have to then continue with CR-1 which means they have to schedule her for a CR-1 if they are not able to swap the interview in time (of her K3 interview date). Right?

Yeah I get it now. Good luck Aruba! Hope it gets done right on time! I am wiped as well and didn't go to work today which explains all the posts. Normally while at work, I can only check in with you guys at lunch time and in the evenings when I get home. So tomorrow you probably won't be seeing much of me until evening hours

So my husband paid a notary $50 to make him a DS-230 AFTER I told him I sent him one in the mail and it would be there this week. He also paid her to make the DS-157 (which I left him a copy of in Feb) and wants me to fax him a copy of the DS-156K. The DS-156K has 5 questions on it and and three of those 5 are what is your name and the other two are N/A since we filled for K3. I told him he has to do and he better not pay the notary to do it.

I'm eating dried fruit at my desk at an attempt to calm myself.

HAHAHA Men! Gotta love 'em though (No offense to our 2 gentlemen ). I am soooooo glad I am the USC and not the other way around. I would have died if I couldn't call and move things along myself!!

He called and said he was on his way to pay a bill but it takes 2 hours to get where he is going and then he has to work at 6. He wasn't even showered yet.... and he had to go pay the mechanic for his motorcycle... he is crazy.... THANK GOD FOR ONLINE BANKING IN THE US.

YEAH ONLINE BANKING IS THE WAY TO GO! I can't picture riding a bike from one mountain over to the next for 2 hrs So not me. But I am picturing Tucho doing it Pretty funny imagine and on the fone all laid back and Jen is like Hurry up, u have to be at work at 6 and still gotta shower lolrog

Tucho rides a motorcycle. Its all dirt roads. My butt hurts after riding on the back up that mountain. ughhhhh LOL

No, I didn't call NVC yet.... Im tired of hearing they don't have my file and that it takes 2-4 weeks to receive it. WHO ARE THEY KIDDING??? So your file isn't there yet either???? HMMMMM maybe they threw both of ours out of the back of the mail truck because we caused too many problems at USCIS !! LMAO..

By the way... Tucho said it is really hot in Costa Rica today.... I want to be there.

In Costa Rica they have to go to the bank for everything. To pay untilities and phone bills and child support.... OMG I can't tell you the last time I stepped foot in the bank.... Everything I have is direct deposit or automatic bill pay .... I will make suremy husband opens an account at that bank that has branches here and there so he can transfer his child support for free. I'm so cheap like that !!!

No mine got there on Friday and I already got both case #s yesterday evening.

You probably missed my earlier post in our other thread, so here it goes:

Jen, we were approved on the same day. So if mine and Sarita's are already there, urs should be coming up shortly. Don't forget your congressman confirming your files were sent to NVC on the 6th. My theory: NVC told me they got mine on the 6th. So maybe urs were sent the day after. Ours (bunch who was approved in the A.M.) were most likely sent out on the 5th and arrived at NVC on the 6th. I found out my case #s yesterday 5:20 p.m. and was told they received my file on the 6th. So I assume u should find out urs tonite since urs went out a day after ours. Hope this info makes sense and is helpful.

So now I am calling hoping they can tell me my file has lefttttttttttt NVC!! lol I know I am nuts and wishing on a star, but at least they are karma stars lol

Hopefully I can find where I left off yesterday, trying to keep up with everyones experiences of moving from VSC to NVC!

Just got off the phone with NVC. I had a feeling...YEP we're in AP also. Seems almost unavoidable, but I had prepared myself for it and something told me to expect it after Lisa and Steve got stuck in it. I will be thankful if we got out by the end of April and hopefully my hubby can still get a late May or Mid June interview and be with me in time for our first year anniversary.

I won't get mad, I won't cry. It's just the way things are for us at this point. Disappointed yes, but we gotta go on. Better we found out right away too as opposed to be slapped by AP a week or two later of waiting and calling NVC every day.

Much rather be in AP now than after interview or later. The counting clock starts once again
