Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

That reminds me of test I took in middle school that said to read all the directions first then start. It had about twenty things to do on the page like write your name backwards and draw a flower next to number two and such. But the last direction on the page said to ignore all the other directions above and write your name on the paper and turn in over. I, plus one other girl, got 100's. All the other kids failed because they didn't read all the directions before starting!

I had the same test back in junior high.

I think it is the standard test given when the teacher runs out of lesson plans or is too hung over to teach.

Did that too back in Brasil in High School for a presentation on how attentive people are. The students presentation was great, they first showed a video where they interviewed random people in the streets asking really simple but contradictory questions that showed people did not pay attention, and other things of the sort and they finished off with that test. Quite a lot of people did follow the entire directions before reading the final one that asked only to write your name. Happy to say I did read the page first but mostly 'cus I always glance down any paper for an overview and happened to see the final direction.

 I think it even said it was a test of how well you followed directions.
