Or a kids book... oh wait.

Okay I love twitter because Kim Kardashian just posted a pic of herself all sunburned... and even though she looks like a lobster she still manages to look AMAZING!

http://twitpic.com/3gvq1 <-- pic.

I have NEVER had a sunburn. EVER. I can lay on a beach for hours and just tan, but I never burn. Lucky me.

Probably has already been done.

When you work in an office with all men it can be quite the show. When I worked for the construction company I heard things at work that were...not very good. haha

I have NEVER had a sunburn. EVER. I can lay on a beach for hours and just tan, but I never burn. Lucky me.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

That's a funny pic. You are lucky, I am so fair with freckles I have to be extremely careful. Tons of SPF, a hat, I can't be in the sun much at all. I've never had a tan in my life :crying:

one time we went to the beach and I used this sunblock that looked kind like chapstick and you kind of rub it on and I thought I had spread it evenly over my legs but by the time I left the beach I had zebra stripes on my legs ...lol

If it makes you guys feel better I have had a wind burn... yep thats what happens when you insist on acting like Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic on a speed boat.

But never a sunburn... no one in my family burns.

God I hate the Kardashians. No talent #### clowns. The worst of them all is the one that looks like a man in drag.

I used to tan very well. My mom is Irish and my dad is Spanish. Now I think my Irish genes are taking over. Mel is worse tho, she got so burned once, she got purple splotches on her

I used to burn as a child - fair haired blue eyed blonde with freckles - but as I became an adult I would burn less and less. I tan very very slowly and never very much but I don't seem to burn anymore, no matter how long I am in the sun. All of my blonde friends would be bright red and hurting and I would have a bit of 'colour' that faded to a tan the next day and never burned. It is actually perplexing because I SHOULD burn. I've been wind-burned as well - sun and wind-burned when I used to sail a lot.

Hehehe even now living in the south, if I decided to go on a Florida beach, you would still be able to identify the Canadian!

This vent is on behalf of my sister, I'm upset for her  Well she went to Winners last night trying on clothes and she's a plus size. Anyway she was bringing back items to the fitting room attendant and the customer ahead of her returned 2 dresses my sister thought was nice. So she said "oh can I see that dress it's nice" and the attendant said "no honey, this dress is way to small for you, you seem to be a size 16 or 18" she was shocked the girl said that to her so she left and bawled her eyes out in the car. WHO says that especially to a customer!??! (plus she's not even that size she's a 12 but that is irrevelant!) Her husband was so mad he called the store manager today to complain about the attendant. The manager apologized profusely and sent them a $25 gift card, but the damage is done to her feelings.

That's terrible Jill!

Isn't it!? And my sister has always struggled with her weight, she has a thyroid condition which makes it difficult for her to lose. She is a very healthy eater and exercises alot, so she's always been sensitive about her weight as it's a health condition.

Aww Jill that's too bad. I have been there and done that. Some people will say whatever they're thinking and aren't very tactful. I think for me, the worst is when they're sneering at me down their nose like "nothing in here will fit you honey!" Those are the kind of stores I don't even like to go in. Some people are so rude! As a side note, I had a thyroid condition for awhile, and I heard of a natural supplement called Armour. Docs down here in the US are using it to raise thyroid levels instead of traditional meds cause it works better. I'm not sure if it's available in Canada, but if I still had a thyroid problem it's definitely something I would try because of all the good results I've heard.
