Yea I don't know. Ethan really likes this teacher, she is great in many ways. She does give him positive reinforcement. Things have been good, but this seemed to have thrown her way off. I don't know, maybe the mix of religion and politics rubbed her the wrong way? Regardless she needs to be less bias. I don't like everything I see out there, but I accept it.

It's not up to her to change his writing style, it's up to her to make sure he knows where the period and comma goes.

Exactly. I agree with Sentinel (formerly Deadpool) who said it obviously offended her on a personal level.

My new name should've been "The Artist Formerly Known as DeadPoolX" :D

Wouldn't the logical next step be to change your name to just a symbol? :P

Ok I have to get this off my chest before I explode! Levi had bought a really nice cell when he was still in Canada ( around $500!). Of course turned out that it didn't have a SIM so couldn't use it here once he switched cell companies so a cousin of his asked if they could HAVE it since it was of no use to him. Sweet man that he is he said sure he'd mail it when he was able. He didn't want me to pay for the charges to ship it since he isn't working yet. Sooooo 6 months later after she has hounded him non-stop on the issue he decides he'll go ahead and ship it UPS to get her off his back using his Visa to pay shipping since he's finally getting EI. Then last night as we're getting ready for bed she sends him a nasty text asking why he didn't tell her she would have to pay UPS to get the phone! He paid his part of the shipping and had no idea there would be additional charges on her end. It was duty or something..... Anyway she said it was $76 and there were three options here 1. She pays the $76 (not an option) 2. She does a return to sender ( leaving him responsible for the charges) 3. He pays UPS Canada the $76 so she can go ahead and pick it up!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe this?! He text her back saying sorry he didn't know about any additional charges but she is getting a $500 phone for virtually free and its not his problem at this point. Then at about 12:30 am when we had been asleep we hear his phone beep with a text and its her saying well guess its return to sender then huh! I was so mad I couldn't sleep the rest of the night! I think this is the most ungrateful human being I have ever encountered in my life! Of course Levi won't say anything to her because he feels that won't change the end result. Probably true but hard for me to bite my tongue on this one!

Sounds like it is just a Customs Charge - if that is the case they send it back you might not have to pay (since its not being imported) - I could be wrong, but I can't see how Canada customs can charge you if they send it back.

You might just have to pay the shipping charge again though. What an ungrateful person. $76 for a $500 is very nice.

@ Nev - Just out of curiosity - have you had contact with the school counselor or social worker?

I can't believe I missed that Sentinel was DeadPoolX ... totally over my head. I guess I just thought, wow his writing style seems so similar to DPX .... I am clueless! LOL

I hope this is the case. He only spent $20 to ship it to her but if he has to pay anything additional its just totally wrong! She should have offered to reimburse him for the shipping to begin with! He's just trying to be nice and this is the thanks he gets...... Not cool!

Yes I have before... she was not exactly on my side with things in the past. Wanted Ethan tested for ADD a couple of months ago and basically sat there in the school meeting advocating the use of pills and what wonders it had done for her son.

I could go back to her about this but she and I just didn't get along that one day. I don't know if she'd hold the past against me or what. I am just weary.

She wants to transform the foyer into some sort of weird crystal palace using glasses. Like thousands of glasses. With that kind of budget why not just have the palace built for you miss queenie.

It's RIDONKULOUS!

I don't care how much money you have, that much money shouldn't be spent on a wedding. The things is, the girls mother is a member here so she gets a discount on the food and the ballroom rental is free. So I don't even know where I would start figuring out where she is paying that kind of cash for a wedding. Ugh and the events planner is soo kissing her a$$. So pathetic. Everyone who comes in is special not just her. I wouldn't even call it special, I'd call it stupid. No one is going to notice your platinum trimmed plates from Milan missy.
