Vent?

People who talk about chips and dips and stuff while you're at work and can't possibly get any satisfaction!

You know who you are!!!!!

See directly above me!

~grump~

Mwhahahaha.

For me, it's all about the intriguing love story. The forbidden dangerous love. I don't know. The movie didn't really capture any of that for me. The first one wasn't very well done, we'll see if they improve on the second.

Different director and a much bigger budget. I have hopes for New Moon.

They need to put a lot towards acting coaches for those kids. :P

So true. Kristen Stewart couldn't act her way out of a box.

Montreal: BEAT!!! Approved!!!!!

I watched Adventureland when it came out, totally not knowing she was in it.

Who's idea was it to put her behind a camera?

So, I get up this morning and I go to turn on the lights and nothing. We live downstairs in my in laws house (yeahhh, its my palace..) and for some reason, none of the lights will turn on! Only the bathroom works. I called them at their business and they said they'd do some troubleshooting and call be back. Still nothing. Meanwhile I'm sitting in the dark like a loser.

Oh and that glue stuff on my hands? Still can't get it off. Its wearing down... slowly... but dang, its annoying the hell out of me.

Its only Tuesday and its already a week from hell!

Admit it, you like having hands like The Thing. If your electricity doesn't come on soon all you have to say is, "it's clobbering time," and they'll get the message.

Twilight can't be as bad as Transformers 2.... can it?

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

We have had company since last Friday. They left today. While they were here they kept the doors to the spare bedroom and the bathroom they used closed. Today after they left I opened them and almost suffocated from the smell! Musty, moldy, yech! Both rooms were spotless - and I even had an air freshener in the room to make it smell nice - when they arrived. I don't know how they got the sheets to smell musty but they did - they are in the wash now with bleach and hot water! They had the bedroom window open (even though it got into the 40s overnight) and I can see why. I had left out clean towels for them - 2 sets for each of the couple. I found them all, damp and smelling of mold stuffed into the waste basket of the bathroom, along with one of the extra sets that hang there for effect but aren't really used. They must have used a different towel or two every day and instead of letting them dry, just balled them up damp and put them in the waste basket! These are good towels - I hope they recover after being washed as well! Now, these are two adults who both own their own homes . . . you think they would know better! I honestly don't understand this at all. I have Fabreezed all of the surfaces in the bedroom and will be doing it again and cleaned the bathroom with Fantastick. There is still a lingering odour in the air of mustiness and I have kept the window open. They were only here 3 days! And to think I was worried that they might smell the cat litter box in the laundry room next door (they didn't cause I scooped it several times a day).

Ewwww. :dead: Maybe they won't come back. lol

I agree. I'm guessing that the bathtub or sink (if you're lucky) overflowed and they tried to sop up the mess. The alternative is that another device in the bathroom (you know which one) overflowed and now the drywall, the floor, the carpet and who knows what has taken up the moisture and the mold is starting to form if it hasn't already. Judging by the mustiness, I fear that it has.

I dunno...Con Air is pretty awful while also strangely entertaining...

That describes many Nicolas Cage movies, however.

Showgirls, FTW!!!!!

Best bad movie EVER!!!!

I remember one Saturday night, CFTO-TV (the Toronto affiliate of CTV for those of you not from the GTA), the most conservative broadcaster in Canada, aired Showgirls completely uncut. I couldn't believe it. The movie had so much nudity and such a corny plot that it got to be a comedy after a while.

"Keep thrusting, keep thrusting! Big volcano scene."
