vent ahead.

Some of you know my BIL is married to the b1tch from hell and live in Calgary. Married 12 years, has not once come back to visit his parents. Wife showed up at my wedding late and dressed in white (like, #######, manners, hullo???) --- they say they are coming for Xmas every year and cancel like 3 days before the fact. ALWAYS. So now, FIL has Parkinson's :( and he needed this chopfk to help out. So he finally should show up today... ONE WEEK LATER. My MIL is obviously all enthused (hey, moms are like that); and the redhead has summarily said he does not want to see the dude. Neither do I.

Cue in my mother, who totally b1tchslaps me over the phone saying I'd better show up, because my inlaws are lovely when my parents visit.s Meh. I can't say no, so i am stuck hanging with this dude today. Blaaaa. Anyhoooooo.... MIL calls this morning sayin he "missed his plane but will try to take another one later today" :blink: so how about we change the plans and have dinner tomorrow???? OH NO YOU DIDN'T.

I shall call her and say ohai, have plans for tomorrow no can't do. ####### this guy, really.

/vent.

So sorry to hear about FIL's condition. (L) Your BIL's wife is...from another planet. I already knew this but why am I not surprised. You are what you eat and she eats granola a nd tofu all day so she's a flake. :lol: I'm with Mom on this, show up and be the good one, don't give loonie-toons an opening. Family dynamics being what they are, always be the good one and play the game of secret subversive. You luv your in-laws so why take it out on them. MIL is secretly trying to be civil but she's not stupid, she knows that her other son's wife is non compus mentis but what can she do? BIL and Flake are taking a plane, I thought they were going to lay down a carpet and take Transcendental Airways' magic carpet service. :bonk:

oh I know. And it upsets me because it hurts my MIL. And that just gets my blood boiling -0- say anything you want about me (I usually don't care); but do not mess with mah peepz.

oh my gawd..Canada sucks soooo bad. The USA is this ball of perfect, sweet tea drinking life :D
