I really hate Mondays sometimes.

Today was an overall retarded day. Finally, getting close to quitting time and the phone rings. My mother called to tell me to call the doctor's office, as they had my appointment scheduled to see a skin specialist or some such in Windsor, but that they wouldn't give the appointment to her.

So I called, and my doc's son answered and told me they had my appointment scheduled (which I obviously knew, why I was calling...).

"Got a pen handy?"

"Absolutely."

"Alright, so your appointment is scheduled for Thursday, June 24th-"

"I'm sorry, did you say June? As in, next summer?"

"Uh.... yeah."

You know, my doctor nearly gave me a heartattack in the two minutes he spent with me the other night, telling me how important it was for me to see a specialist asap, and then I'm told that I have an appointment eight months from now?

Given everything, I had to laugh. For oh, so many reasons.

I have no luck with anything medically related. Honestly.

My medical exam is going to suuuuuuck. Haha.

So you expect all dog owners to train their dogs to only poop in their own lawns? I think that is just a bit unreasonable.

It's one thing for a dog to ####### on someones lawn, but something wholely different to not pick it up. I have no problem with people as long as they pick up after their dog.

Well most people think it is unreasonable, that's why no one does it.

I don't have a dog, but my sister had her 1st dog for 11 years and they managed it. She now has 2 more border collies and they manage it, please refer to my first post

My dog once pooped on someone's lawn, and long story short I didn't have a bag with me (it was a short walk, i started out walking with my ex b/f, and he had the bags, but left and went home before me)... I didn't want to just leave it there... so I went up to the person's house and knocked. I SAW them come to the door, but they didn't answer, probably because it was after dark and they didn't recognize me (cause yeah, a 20-something female alone with a dog is SO threatening).... Anyways, I don't remember what happened afterwards, but I'm hoping I left the poop there to be honest... LOL

Oh my cousin got married this weekend... and everyone but me was invited to the big day.

They just ASSUMED I wouldn't be able to make it.

I am so sick of people assuming such things. :)

That sux. :( I went through the same thing for a while. I ended up causing an international incident. Flights on Southwest are super duper cheap. I can get there. But I need to be invited first. People assume much. But they don't anymore. Things are very clear in their minds now. :)

hehe bees...

Is this some sort of Sudbury inside knowledge thing?

"Alright, so your appointment is scheduled for Thursday, June 24th-"

THAT is ridiculous.

Well most people think it is unreasonable, that's why no one does it.

I hate when people let their dogs defecate on my lawn. I have children playing on that lawn. Either take them to the dog park, or let them ####### on YOUR lawn. It's your dog. You'll relate better when it's your child slipping in the ######. I remember looking out the window one day and a woman stopped and let her giant dog take a giant ####### on my lawn. Then she started walking away. I ran out and said "Excuse me! Would you mind cleaning that up, please?" She looked at me and said she didn't have a bag. I said I would get her one. When I came back outside she was walking down the street. And the dog ####### was sitting on my lawn.

My cat just puked right on the bed. Grrr.

Pop sleeps surrounded by five cats so this happens to him on occasion. I'll go tell him to bring the paper towels.

I just saw this... funny timing cause basically the exact same thing happened to me! My cousin was married this weekend and I wasn't invited, though it seems everyone and their dog (poop and all) was. Including my parents and some cousins. Just cause what, we haven't talked in a couple years, or she doesn't know my address? She didn't invite me to her stag and doe either which was apparently all the rage.

What the F ever though.. I figure it's one less person I have to worry about inviting to MY little shindig, so whatevs!

Right!? I know what you mean.

Even my own mother was there and she didn't tell me she went until afterwards, she was afraid I'd be offended... um ya because the least they could do is invite me and let me decide whether I wanted to go or not.

And then she updates her FB status: "Well we're finally married. Sorry you couldn't all be there but it's what we wanted"

Fine beeeotch.

Burn!! How rude is THAT status?! That'd be like the one little thing that would take me from being 'ok' about a situation, to being down right 'pissed off'. It sounds so selfish. I hate when people assume things rather than letting you make your own choices.

Even if I know someone will likely not make it to my wedding, I'm still inviting them. That's rude to assume otherwise and not invite the person

So I've called 1 civil surgeon about the I-693 and I'm already frustrated! I got "ummm, I think we do that... want an appointment or something?" Like, buddy, you tell me, what do you want me to do?! I was transferred to 3 different people, and had to explain the situation 3 times. Finally I got transferred to an appointment line and nobody answered the phone!

Have you tried Dr. Arnold so you don't have to go in person anywhere?

The thing is, I lent her 300.00 last year to help her with her dress costs and she never even paid me back.

Like you don't borrow that kind of money from someone and then just stop talking to them. Oh wait ya you do... especially if you never planned on paying them back. <_<

Still.. that's not the reason I was given, I was told that they didn't want to invite me if they knew I wouldn't show up. Yet I remember specifically telling my husband last year that my cousin would be getting married and that we'd be going. The date kept changing though because they lost their venue and all that shite.

Totally. I got married in Buffalo, while most of my friends and family are in Vancouver. I invited twenty-two people, and only wound up having my parents, sister, her fiance and one friend arrive. And I rather expected that...but it didn't preclude us from sending out the invitations in the first place.
