That reminds me of my former boyfriend. The guy down the street used to let his dog out and it would come directly to my lawn and sh!t on it, and the owner would never clear it up. One day my boyfriend picked up a rock and threw it at the dog and the neighbour saw it. (Funny how he could see that but not he piles of #######. But I digress.) The dog-owner said "You just threw a rock at my dog!" My boyfriend said "Yeah. And if you were shitting on the lawn, I'd throw a rock at you too!" :lol:

This is one of my pet peeves (pun intended)

I'm so glad you brought this up!

I have never understood and i will never understand why dog owners think it is ok to walk their dog and have it do ANY of its business in your yard.

NO it is not normal - unless your dog is too stupid to go in its own yard. We all know that dogs are not stupid so it is indeed the stupid owner.

Ahhh, i'm happy I finally got to say that.

My dogs both go on our lawn when we step out the front door, kind of like that last pee break you take before you leave the house, and then they don't go on anyone's lawn the whole walk (usually). If they do though I always have a bag because its just so gross to come outside and find someone's dog logs on the front lawn, and a lot of the people on our street have little kids! Most of the time I try to get them to go on the road so I can clean it up and there won't be any poop remains on the grass for the kids to run and roll in.

Always clean up after my dog! No excuse not to! I buy a 1000 bags from Ebay, super good deal! Same bags are $12 per 100 at petsmart!! My dad actually made the local prince Albert paper yrs ago! One of the columnists lived by us and he noticed that my dog was always picking up other people dogs ####### in the park (we backed onto a park) The columnist went onto a rant about people not picking up after their dogs and then about my dad picking it up,lol

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

We always pick up after our dog too.

We live in the city, so we don't have a yard, so our dog obviously does his business on his walks wherever he feels like it...but we ALWAYS pick it up, especially if it's in front of someone's house. No one really had a yard per se, so it's really the sidewalk, but I digress.

So I've called 1 civil surgeon about the I-693 and I'm already frustrated! I got "ummm, I think we do that... want an appointment or something?" Like, buddy, you tell me, what do you want me to do?! I was transferred to 3 different people, and had to explain the situation 3 times. Finally I got transferred to an appointment line and nobody answered the phone! :angry:

So you expect all dog owners to train their dogs to only poop in their own lawns? I think that is just a bit unreasonable. :blink:

It's one thing for a dog to ####### on someones lawn, but something wholely different to not pick it up. I have no problem with people as long as they pick up after their dog.
