what kinda car is it? and if she won't pony up the money or commit, sell them.

It's a 2001 BMW 330Ci with around 25,000 miles on it. I bought it in 2001, but eight years later, it's having a few issues.

I could sell it, but I doubt I'd make much on it. Unless a cars is very rare and highly sought after, they always depreciate in value.

i was asking minnew about the car the tires go to

Yup... I just noticed that now. :P

your car only has 25.000 miles after 8 years? I put that on the car at least in one year.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Wife averages close to 2500 miles a month just driving back and forth to work!!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I am tired of people trying to pick fights, saying they are leaving and then coming back and doing it again. Its one of the things that annoys me the most.

My future SIL decided last night that Wes was trying to belittle her (because she was in one of her famous moods) appologized to him and then attacked him again for things he didnt even say. Somehow this spilt over to me and while I was trying to talk to her all I got was 1 word responses, so I just told her I would bug her at some other point when she wasnt so angry about something, at which point she tried to make it seem like nothing was wrong.....for a whole sentance.

Now this morning I get on VJ, read a thread I have been following and find that one of the "members" there has been doing the same thing. He irriatates me even more due to the fact that he can't just be happy for people, it has to be just as he says or its wrong. He likes to attack people and then turn around and blame them for attacking him. Its getting really old, really fast and it makes me (and others) not want to post in a thread thats ment to be for a group of filers, which is just sad as one of the best things is supporting and being supported by others, and now we feel as if we can't without starting a huge arguement over nothing.

You know what this whole US health care thingy is really frustrating me.. there is so much spin and hysteria from BOTH sides about this stupid issue. The left trying to say it has to happen this summer... and the right trying to say that careful careful we could end up like *gasp Canada..

both sides need to shut up, take a trip UP to Canada and talk to some of the major stakeholders and shut up with the fear mongering..

*sigh..

Gah, mine too. Almost exactly. But Hawaii speed limits are 50mph. Its horrendous. However, it gives me time to catch up on my phone calls back home every day.

On saturday, we went to this Pet Fair in the city that I work in. They were having free microchip service, so we brought our little chihuahua to get it done. When we were there, Mel spotted a cute little chihuahua mix and we decided to adopt her. They tell us that she is 18 months old, spayed, vaccinated, and housebroken. She is fine on sunday, but has a bit of a cough, so we take her to the vet for a checkup. Turns out, she's only 6-7 months old, and has kennel cough. To make things even more fun...... she's not housebroken. I'm not upset at the dog, just a bit annoyed at the shelter people for being so misleading. Now I have to try to call them to warn them about the kennel cough so they can call the other people who adopted dogs that day who were in the pen with her. :/
