grr so the outside of our apartment building is looking more and more trashy...

there is ####### everywhere.. 100 percent of it is from our neighbor right next door... this morning there were papers and plastic bags etc.. strewn all over the place but it looks like that at lest was cleaned up but there is still other ####### all over the place...

it is settled.. after we go on our vacation next month, I am going to start saving money to move out of here..

we are now thinking we might want to rent a small house instead of an apartment.. more privacy etc..

Oh my.... it feels like it was a looooooooong time ago. He had the bright idea of screaming to the boss: "CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH?!?!?" which is a bad, bad idea when your boss is Korean --- so he was put on admin. leave; summoned to the Dean's Office and summarily canned.

Goodness gracious, Marilyn. That is outrageous. I honestly don't understand how people can be so inconsiderate of others. Not to mention having no pride in themselves. Good grief. I hope you get out of there soon. Or they do.

So my boss had a break down this morning in my co-workers office. Absolutely balling. Now, I know people have stuff that gose on in their lives and I'm always here as a listener, but I'm a big advocate of not turning on the fireworks at work, you know? It does happen to ppl though.

Any ways, the purpose of her cry? She thinks she is losing her mind. Literally thinks she has the onset of dementia. Why are you talking to your co-worker about that though that you don't interact with often? Kind of a serious topic.

I think its a sympathy ploy because she's always messing up and forgetting, so now she thinks if we sympathize we won't get ticked off as much.

Irritating neighbors can be so cumbersome. About two weeks ago, I started parking in a spot that is adjacent to our apartment building. We live in a very small apartment building (3 units) that is behind a business. Last Thursday, I get a knock on the door from a neighbor from the building behind us. He's not being an a$$hole, but definitely rude in telling me that it's his wifes space that it's assigned. I didn't know whether or not it was, but I didn't want to get my car towed if he was right, so, I moved my car and called the landlord. I got a callback the next day from the landlord who told me there are no assigned spaces. So when I got home from work yesterday, the space was available and I parked there. About 10 minutes later, his wife gets home, and proceeds to start honking. She would honk like 3-5 times every 20-30 seconds........ lasting about 15 minutes. It was annoying, but at the same time entertaining to see how someone could be so incredibly childish about it. After 15 minutes of this, I guess her husband came out and he comes to the door again and asks me to move my car. I told him what the landlord told me and that I had no intention of discussing this with him, that if he had a problem with it that he should take it up with the property management company. Hearing them whining in the ally was priceless. To be perfectly honest though, I dont' really even care about the space, but, the way the guy acted the first time when he demanded I move my car was a bit too much to swallow. Had he been cordial or pleasant about it, I wouldn't have even bothered. The only downside was having to go check my car every hour or so to make sure someone didn't key it or put nails in my tires.

Typical of so many today it seems. You got the word that there are no assigned spaces. All you did was stick up for yourself. This is definitely something that would happen in Jersey.

You know your boss is simply trying to buy herself some time. Incompetent people generally are aware of their own deficiencies at work. She's trying to play a sympathy card on someone to either mask her inabilites, or she's trying to pass off some work on someone. I've seen this before, and been that co-worker in the office listening to an incompetent boss blather on about some illness/tragedy in their lives. In my case, it was completely made up and completely blew up in her face. It's a horrible situation to be put in. She's setting this person up to be the office a-hole if they don't accomodate her. :/
