Ugh. The people next door have someone working on their house and there is a bandsaw outside my window whaling away. It goes right through me because all I can think of is being at the dentist. :crying:

So yesterday I left work early to go sign the lease for our new place (which will NOT have a trailmix room since she is leaving <_< ).... and who do I run into right outside??? Matilda. Yes, the junkie secretary from hell. He hugged me excitedly :dead: and said omaigod you look fab i misssss youuuu .... he has short hair now, and was wearing a suit. Quite the change, I know. Anyway, he t ells me he is on campus for a job interview.... hmmmm.....

My back is killing me today and I have no idea why! Its been bothering me off and on for about a month... it almost feels like something is pinching in my lower back. Unfortunately I just have to deal with it!

Then you need a night at the Hilton!!

Excellent idea! I think I'll suggest it!

I guess I could wait til the honeymoon... 17 days then a Hilton bed for 6 nights! :star:

Oh my.... it feels like it was a looooooooong time ago. He had the bright idea of screaming to the boss: "CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH?!?!?" :ranting: which is a bad, bad idea when your boss is Korean  --- so he was put on admin. leave; summoned to the Dean's Office and summarily canned.

maybe ur boss was the guy DPX talked to this week? lol just kidding!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
