I had made a comment about how I had spent $200 @ lululemon when I was in Canada on my sister in law's facebook wall. (this store that sells yogo-type wear..its awesome but expensive) My sister in law is dating a guy from Canada so shes been down in Toronto and loves this store, too.

So all of a sudden, the bride to be must have seen this and wrote:

"finds it funny how much people bitched about their " excessive bills"

yet blow so much on clothes. and use stupid transparent excuses to get

out of duties. wow. yeah i'm onto your ###### and so is EVERYONE else.

don't worry it wasn't MY choice putting you in."

I guess after spending about $650.00 dollars on her wedding so far (haven't paid for make up and hair, two nights in a hotel, transportation down to Philadelphia and back and their wedding gift which has to be at least $250.00 dollars) that's not enough.

I didn't realize me spending money on myself, something I never get to do because I'm always working and looking after the dogs, is wrong and I don't have the right to do that. (I saved up for like 2 months to go shopping with my friends in Canada...)

I guess it wasn't "her choice" to put me in the wedding so I guess someone twisted her arm to do so. So, knowing that now, she obviously doesn't want me in it...I just called my brother in law and told him I was done. I'm disappointed that we couldn't work it out, because I really would have liked to. But at the same time, am I really going to have her defame me in public? I want to hold onto some pride.

I'm worried that what hapepned to Nev though is going to happen to me. I'm paranoid now.

That's too bad, but probably for the best in the long run. I hope you can get some $$ back for the damn dress!

WOW. That is stupendously narcissistic and arrogant. I'm so glad you did that, Amanda. How utterly despicable behaviour. This is outrageous.

And don't worry about your thread. It's gone. No one can access anything that was written there.

I'm paranoid too. I keep thinking back as to what I wrote in the past, etc. I will definitely be more careful on here and not discuss too much. I also changed my FB to extremely private and my friends list is not searchable either (to outsiders). And I deleted my VJ photos!

her van was in prime condition with low mileage she looked it up on the kelly blue book the value was more than she owed on it but seems the insurance companys use a different system all i can say is it seems like the state and government is backing legal thief's called insurance companys cuz for sure u cant drive with out if it u get caught there is a lot of legal and financial problems

What insurance company was this? I like to be aware of which ones are ripping people off.

I wouldnt worry Amanda, I don't think it was anyone from here as we discussed and the more my husband talks about it, the more I am starting to see the picture and agree. It was someone who personally wanted to have it out with me and only me.

I think everyone gets to their breaking point, and it took a looong time for you to finally reach yours. Oh I'm sorry are you not allowed to have fun or spend money without first consulting her?? That's how I see it. She's a controlling and mean girl. I am happy that you stuck up for yourself and I hope that your family understands your reasons and gives you the breathing space you need. I also hope that she realizes what she has done. The wedding will last ONE DAY... she has lost friends for a lifetime.

I'm sorry too, Amanda - but I think you stuck it out far longer than I would have done. You may be the first 'leaving' her but guaranteed, you won't be the last. Her behaviour through all of this has been childish and petulant. She'll be facing more consequences of her actions pretty soon, is my guess.
