her van was in prime condition with low mileage she looked it up on the kelly blue book the value was more than she owed on it but seems the insurance companys use a different system all i can say is it seems like the state and government is backing legal thief's called insurance companys cuz for sure u cant drive with out if it u get caught there is a lot of legal and financial problems

What insurance company was this? I like to be aware of which ones are ripping people off.

I don't know if it was someone from here, I assume it was because there were links to different threads I have posted in. Like I said, at this point I don't know and I don't know the details. But at least now I don't have to hide the way I feel right??? That was my I'll attempt to add humour to the matter.

That would be a whole lot of work to find those posts..... and for what gain? I don't understand the payoff. I guess you would have to be evil to understand the gratification that type of behaviour gives you. Do you know of anyone who doesn't like you? I just don't get this.

I do know that one of the links were when I spoke about how I didn't like how she was attempting to set up my son. I found it wrong that she was doing that. I don't really have too many friends now that I have left them all back in Canada, so I come on here and I vent. My bad.

She isn't on my friends list, she was on my husbands friend list. I removed her because I felt like she was taking everything I wrote and using against us somehow... Go figure.

I am definitely taking my pics down now, too creepy! My FB privacy settings are so that ONLY friends can view and post in my profile, and I think only friends can view my friends list, but I am really not sure. I will be talking to my dad about his FB page and remind him to make it private.

Ok, so if I am understanding this correctly Sprailenes, someone on facebook made a fake profile and linked to your VJ posts and somehow your family members got access to this person's profile or links?

You know what, when you said that about maybe being a VJ person I thought noooo, but you know what, it wouldn't be the first time someone has directed others here (not saying it's the same person) - I just mean some people really do get their jollies stirring up things I guess.

I absolutely unequivocally don't believe it was anyone from the Canada Forum. At least not the regulars. Can't say what the OT members would or would not do, but I find it hard to think that they might go to all that trouble also. It has to be someone close to you, Nev. Someone who knows you're on VJ, and someone who's close to the family. I mean it really has to be personal to them to go to the trouble of finding each specific post you made about your MIL. Which, in my opinion, weren't harsh, or frequent, posts at all. Just day-to-day reality. Would your MIL do this, or did she say someone else told her? How did you find out?

Yes I don't wish any of this on anyone.

I don't know how long ago this happened, I do know that up until a month ago my husbands facebook was public and the links were somewhat old too, so this all happened about a month ago and I guess no one said anything until now. I had wondered why I was getting the cold shoulder.

Basically there were a few links to different posts, so it was done over time.

They went so far as to find my husband and then his mother.

It was just very methodical; stupid and immature.. but methodical.

Sprailenes, I know you are angry but let's think of it from another perspective. Everyone, at some point in time, bitches about someone else. Heck, we ###### about our own spouses and kids sometimes. It's natural, and it's a stress relief. If we all kept everything bottled up inside we'd see random people spontaneously exploding all over the place. I'm sure your MIL has bitched about you too. So she'll get over it. As for the person with evil intentions.... some day they'll be found out. And they'll deserve every bit of whatever's coming to them. They have to be really really miserable and inwardly despise themselves to do something so evil and bitter and underhanded as this. It must be a terrible terrible life they lead.

I don't know who did it. No one else really knows I go on VJ. I don't care who did it. To be honest I stopped trying to wrap my head around the who's and what's yesterday and I decided to post about it today just to warn people to watch what they say.

To sit here and try to figure out who did it, why they did it, it's a waste of time to be honest. I am not going to waste my time thinking about it too much, what's been done has been done.

I guess I'll just hire a therapist now to talk to and vent to.

How did I find out?

I got an email with links to each thread asking for an explanation. Awkwaard.

For variety, I'm going to interject a vent here. I just got a call from a telemarketer (who claims she was not a telemarketer) from my virtual number back in Canada. I asked her how she got this number and she told me it was from a ballot I filled out. Yeah right. She wanted my address so she could mail me my voucher so I could come in and pick up my gift. I asked her if she was calling from Canada and she said yes. (Not quite sure about that one because she sounded like she was calling from one of those off-shore customer service departments in India, but whatever.) Anyway, after she asked I told her that I live in the US and that I have NEVER given out my number to ANYONE. She said "Really? Oh God." THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!

I got an email with links to each thread asking for an explanation. Awkwaard.

My explanation would be "I'm venting! Don't you vent??"
