I'm so incredibly cranky this morning because I haven't gotten much sleep for the last couple of nights. After my mammogram last week they've called me back to take further images of something they saw. Even though I know that 90% of the time what they've seen is something benign, I can't stop worrying.

That can be worriesome Catherine. That happened to me two years ago. I had to go back for another mammogram, and then an ultrasound. All was good though.

Autumn- My brother had severe croup when he was a baby and my mum always took him out at night into the cold. She said it was one of the only things that helped. I will ask her if she has any other home remedies for you that she thinks worked. I know it was a stressful time for her.

Danu- Starting off your living situation with Wes with roommates is probably not the best. I guess you guys have no other option really. Is it really expensive where Wes lives?

I lived with Roommates for 5 years and here is my advice. Keep the communication open. Things like "he thinks he's so great at WOW but when I try to help him he gets defensive..." you have to let stuff like that go. Don't get involved in the first place. Let him play his games how he wants to without your advice or help because it's really not that big of a deal. I'm not sure if you have lived with roommates before but you just have to be cautious about what you get upset about or what you think is concerning. People can take things the wrong way and before you know it, they can make your life a living hell. I'm sure the last thing you want is them telling Wes that they can't stand you and want you both to leave.

Often times, you are going to have to do things yourself. I know that sucks but believe me, it can be a lot better then getting on someone's case you don't really know. If there is cat food in the kitchen, you are probably going to have to clean it up yourself. Unfortunately I have found through experience you can press people all you want, but they end up being more rebellious and vindictive in the end. It's hard to tell another adult want to do.

I am sad that I cannot read Danu's posts properly because I refuse to scroll-right to read full sentences. If Danu would move one of her tickers below the other then her signature would not be so wide and I would know exactly what she was saying.

Awww. Hugs, Catherine. I'm sorry you're so worried. But it's nice that they're on the ball. My cousin's doctor told her that her mammogram was fine and she had nothing to worry about. But the radiologist who did the mammogram was quite concerned and called her (my cousin) to ask what she'd been told. When she found out she insisted my cousin get a second opinion. Sure enough, cancer. But it had taken so long that the disease had had time to progress so she went through an awful time with it. I would look at this as a good thing.

Okay, so I am super pissed off today. We've been sent a letter from our HOA saying they intend to file a lien due to an overdue account. WE ARE NOT OVERDUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry to hear that Declan's got croup, Autumn. You poor thing. Him too. I was exhausted during those years the kids were in daycare and school. They were ALWAYS sick with something. Great immunity builder, though. In a weird way. lol

Speaking of that, I read somewhere that alot of parents in the US throw "chicken pox parties" they are too scared of vaccines, so they purposely put their children in the way of chicken pox so they get it. I thought that was rather odd.

From one extreme to another, you're either chasing your kid with a can of lysol spray or holding plague parties. What fun!

My mom did that, but only with my brothers. I remember we all had them at the same time, or very close to the same time. We would have all gotten them at one point so why not get it over with. I don't think there was a vaccine back then.

I've had them twice. Once when I was 8 and then my son got them when he was 5 and I got them again, but I was an adult and ended up in the hospital for week because of it. It sucked! I woke up in the morning and I was like: "AHH WHAT HAPPENED TO MY FACE!?"

Really, I didn't know you could get them twice!! My sister's husband got them 2 years ago at the age of 34, it was awful. It looked like horrible adult acne, and he got scars too.
