Yeah he knows about it. MIL was forwarding the text conversations to tony's oldest younger sister (we'll call her S) and also his dad. He didn't do anything about it to try and stop it or anything. We know he probably wanted to, but she's a ###### to live with when she's not "in a mood" let-alone when she is. S had said just a day or so ago that we shouldn't worry about being kicked out (she was visiting for a while). She is appalled and shocked that MIL did this to us.

Turns out her initial text about the dishes was slightly difft to what Tony told me. It actually said "Dishes need to be done. grass needs to be cut. We have visitors coming over. We are working and don't have the luxury of mouching(sic) and sleeping all day". I'm pretty confident she meant "mooching" which is SO uncalled for. FAMILY isn't the same as mooching. We only slept there. We bought our own food. paid our own gas etc. Tony works 40 hour weeks etc to pay our bills. She also wrote in a text after tony said "F the dishes" that he bought a "stranger" into the house. That upset him too that she called me a stranger.

She sent a text to tony at around 9.30pm last night saying "I know you're mad at me and I'm mad at you. When you want to talk about this mess let me know". Tony doesn't plan on talking to her at all. She has nothing to be mad about except we didn't say "how high" when she told us to jump.

Thanks for the hugs and for the well wishes about the house. **fingers crossed**!!

**Edit - as much as it pisses us off... we're also quite happy to not have to deal with her

It is beyond uncalled for...I mean seriously family dont do that!!! Whether she is a ***** when in a mood or not it does not give her the right to do this...and you were no stranger -- you are her DIL and she better learn to deal with that quick smart or she will wake up old & alone ..wondering why nobody comes around!! *end of rant*

Just take solace in the fact that you did nothing wrong in this, it was all her & now you & Tony can move forward with your wonderful life together xxx

Hey Bex ... my interview was at 10am. I realised last night that I didn't have my US sized passport photos so I woke up and googled and realised there was a Royal Express in the MLC centre. No big deal. Booked a taxi for 8.30am and it didn't show so I was outside hailing a cab at 9am. Had photos done and didn't actually get up to L59 until about 9.30am. OMG - people everywhere. Finally after 10.30am I get called for prescreening. Didn't actually get called until just after 11.15am. Was back downstairs calling my husband at 11.27am.

YAY! Congrats Very happy for you both it's so irritating when they don't look at the evidence BUT it means you must have shown it in the way you acted/talked

They've had the package for over 2 weeks now

Do they take longer to look at RFE's than they do just straight DS230's?

They sent me an RFE right after we paid the IV Bill, and all the checklist had on it was the DS230...

Which is odd, because I hadn't even had a chance to send off my ds230 by then...

Like everyone else... I hate waiting... lol

My visa was approved TOO . I saw you there Deb, well I think it was you. Were you there with another woman and a baby? and if that wasn't you did you see the 2 women and a baby ?

Took an 1hr and a half to get through the process. Was almost late because mum and I were playing around with the cameras at breakie central at channel 7 sunrise, then I left my bag with all my forms in it on a bench and had to run back for it

When I finally made it to security just before 10am I was flustered and it was stuffy and hot waiting in line, dropping everything everywhere.

The actually process itself was not bad it was the people waiting and the stuffy room that made it a bit of a headache. All done now just waiting to fly away now ... I also found it amusing how many people took their x-rays with them

Vanessa, I am glad you are out of that house, I bet you are too. BIG HUGS

Hi guys

Can't remember if I've updated recently, but I'm in Seattle! Flight was good, LAX was a nightmare ... unorganised so and so's .... anyways, the whole flight went super fast, even considering I had my 5 month old with me lol.

Vanessa OMG I am so glad you are out of that house! It's very sad that that Monster In Law is the way she is, but at least Tony knows what she's like and wont put up with her #######. How dare she refer to you as a stranger! Reading that made my blood boil. At least now you guys can move on and be together happily, with NO stresses!! *big hugs* xx.

Big congrats to everyone! Seems like it was a big day for lots of people today.

Hopefully, the luck stays around until next week when Ham gets here so he doesn't have any issues getting through customs.
