Yeah that's the one I called, might give it another call and speak to an operator and tell them my station said it would be 2 weeks...

Haha I love being impatient... Apparently it was mailed yesterday afternoon. Guess it's a good note for Aussies to allow 2-4weeks, BUT if you speak to them they can see where in the process it is...

Best I get my 2 photos done tonight then and then it's time to ship off my ds230

Yes I know I'm replying to myself AGAIN, but it turned up this afternoon.

The police station didn't lie when they said start chasing it up after 2 weeks... it arrived 2 weeks to the day...

In other news, the June bulletin came out today... It's jumped 2mths closer to my priority date.

It's at 08NOV2004 and my date is 21MAR2005...

Could it be July? Fingers crossed.

If I can be living in Colorado before Christmas, and then it snows for Xmas.... This year will be one to remember

We had Xmas in NY and it snowed Xmas morning ... it really was magical. Never could understand the fuss until I experienced ... everyone should at least once in a lifetime.

I'm wondering about these 2 photos I have to send with my DS230 that are supposed to be 5cm x 5cm...

What did you all do? I'm guessing I just have to go to a photo shop, give them the specifics from the iv.state.gov website and hope that they are correct?

personally I went here: http://www.epassportphoto.com/ and uploaded a pic of myself and then had it printed at a photo booth (for the AOS stage).

While in Australia I went to a PhotoMe booth (amazing pics) http://www.photo-me.com.au/home/default.asp (click on their booth locator). My issue with the photo booth was that I took a couple of times to get it right and it's $10 for 4 pics but honestly, they were GREAT photos (and I didn't know about the above site at the time.. that and I took ####### "normal" photos).

If you use the epassportphoto.com site the pics are FREE. You have someone take a pic of you on a white (or off-white) background, upload the pic to the site, tell it what country the pics are for and it will help you (using a "head here" and "chin here" guide) resize the pic to within requirements. They will then turn that photo into 5 photos on a standard 4"x6" photo which you can save to your USB stick and get printed at the local chemist or whatever, and then you cut the pics to size. Easy peasy.
