Vanessa: Yeah, i'll have another look at it, i briefly browsed through it once before and it looks very helpful :) i've got a copy of my DS 3025 but not my medical, when they sent me my medical it was in a sealed envelope addressed to the consulate only so i kinda figured i wasn't allowed to see it, lol so i don't have a copy of that, hopefully they don't lose it though, i've been a little worried about that :/

I had the doctor mail me another copy. I've also heard you can ask for a copy of it at your interview though I didn't find that out until AFTER my interview and I was in the US :P

The DS-3025 IS the vaccination records (has the number in the lower left corner I think it is). If you CAN I would try and get a copy of the medical. If you can't don't stress 'cause some doctors don't keep copies. Certainly doesn't hurt to ask though :D

Just check the list here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/235331-aos-ead-ap-from-k1-the-aussie-way-doc-list-included/ and make sure you have everything there.

Exciting!! if you need help at any stage just ask :D

im not gonna look into the AOS and everything till after the wedding. My brain is fryed from everything else happening right now. lol. :bonk:

I will have lots of time to sit down and get it down when im settled in the US after the wedding. How long does it usually take to get the EAD so I can start working?

Every case is different on how long it takes to actually get the visa in hand. It took my fiance only three days (his interview was on the Tuesday and he had his visa on Friday afternoon) but I'm sure there are a lot of different factors that affect how long each person has to wait to get theirs. I think the official statement says something like five to ten business days or so. If you haven't heard anything in two weeks after the interview, I would definitely email the consulate about it. Hopefully it will get there in a couple of days!
