Yeahhh, i'm actually feeling oddly calm right now. i know i'm as prepared as i can be and theres nothing else that i can really do right now, lol.

saw my travel agent to 'tentatively' book some flights the other day too, i'm going Adelaide to Auckland to LAX to Phoenix......never been to new zealand before, lol

you will be fine for the interview.. they probably wont even ask you for evidence... they didnt for me... it goes pretty dam quick... only person i talked to was going to renew his us passport... but he was cool and calmed me down abit cos i was so nervous...

NZ?? i looked at those flights but they had long layovers there... i went Brisbane to Seoul to Atlana to Charlotte... went the asian way.. u looked at those ways? it saved me $500

I always go MEL, SYD, Malaysia, LAX and IAH (Houston). Last time I went it seemed a lot quicker than that though. I think i went MEL, SYD, LAX and it was SO cheaper $1100 return. Granted I bought the ticket in the US though.

my partner (us) did some pricings at the same time as me coming over here to the usa... she could fly return from the us to aus for something like 1300 where as i was getting quotes over 2 grand! was annoying.. im just lucky i found an agent who looked up different options and took met me the korean way

Awesome! I'm so happy for you guys! It's a great feeling isn't it? I was so nervous sitting here when Ben was in Sydney because he had to turn his phone off. I was practically bouncing and driving my parents nuts as I waited for the text from him lol

Best of luck on the remainder of the waiting and wedding planning! Congratulations again!

I did! i still can't believe that that was it, all that worry, preparation, time, just everything for less than an hour at the consulate for a ten minute interview, lol. didn't even look at any of my mountains of evidence either, lol

It's so anticlimactic. I know it's a good result so that's always the best result but I sat down on that middle level or whatever and just had that feeling like I was forgetting something. For MONTHS this was what I'd been thinking about and now I just had to wait for the mailman! So excited for you :D
