I have another question guys

I have my Police certificate & paid for the finger print one in Victoria, Is the certificate just a letter? or actuall copies of my finger prints?

I just have a certificate. Just curious

Just a piece of paper that seems like a complete waste of money when you eventually get it :P

haha I totally agree about the police certificate. I was expecting something cool looking at the very least and was quite disappointed with the simple blue paper lol In the end though it just means you're that much closer!

Yeah Im going to attach a letter to my P3 asking for the earliest interview. It seems like everyone is getting there interview quiet early & fast, So fingers crossed It will happen for me too. I finally got the OK on my medical and have to collect it this week.

Thanks :)

Ah, yeah, there's been people get interviews earlier than me but i never attached a letter asking for an earlier one. i'm not planning on leaving until the end of OCtober so we're not in much of a rush right now, lol. I think they gave us a later one too because we were missing something from the P3. This is gonna sound totally dumb, lol, but my mother in law is my co sponsor and because my fiance hasnt had any income this year and has never filed a tax return, he didn't fill one out because we totallllyyy forgot that it's required, lol. So we only sent the one from his mom. all good though, he actually got a job a few days ago so we'll just fill out what we can on the I-134 and take whatever payslips he has by my interview date :)

Finally time for AOS.......

I think I made a big rant about this.. i'll see if I can find it: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/183541-land-downunder-aussie-aussie-aussie-oi-oi-oi/page__view__findpost__p__3584627

To update that... nope. I'm under retirement age. They refuse to release the funds to me. I have to leave it there until I'm old enough to take it out which REALLY bugs me honestly because if I stay here for the next 35 years I have to remember I have that fund and to make sure my address details are up-to-date etc. What I did with mine is decide that it's now my life insurance fund. I made sure that all the life insurance stuff was done. Removed any of the work insurance (like paying your wages if you can't work because they won't do it overseas). I made sure I changed the beneficiary and have to make sure to mention it when I re-do my Will. I suppose even though i can't take it out it's like a savings account for the future, or at least helps my husband/family with bills when I pass on.

Yes im quite annoyed by the policies. I dont have much in there and the money that are in there will be going towards the membership fees....and I doubt there is any left by the time i reach retirement age.

Yep...the super policies definitely suck!!! I can't get mine either, and like you, there isn't much in there, but what is there will be long gone in fees before I reach retirement age. I think that sucks. I can understand not letting ppl that are still living in Australia have it early without good reason. It is supposed to be there as a source of income so you don't end up on government assistance...but.....ummm....guys....if you wont let me have it now, trust me there wont be any left by the time I get to retirement so I will still end up on a pension anyway!!!!

With mine, I think there are only a couple of ways you can get it before retirement age, one being financial hardship. But I think you have to be on gov't assistance for 26wks or something before they would agree to releasing it.

Hey i had my interview in June and they didnt ask for any proof of relationship, you just need to add in photos, reciepts from plane tickets, things you have done together, phone records, cards, anything that you can show that you two are still together... they never asked me for any evidence so dont stress.... just take it incase.. they were more worried about financial things like if my partner could support me or i can support myself and so forth
