I arrived back in the U.S. without my man on Friday. We've sent off packet three now we're just waiting on his interview date; fingers crossed that it's soon!

P3 to interview is around a month (sometimes sooner) so you could be together again very soon!

That is definitely what we are hoping for! We attached a letter to the packet three letting the consulate know that he was ready for the first available interview date. Hopefully we'll get something soon. But we were one of the lucky couples who spent the majority of our visa journey together rather than apart. Knowing that we're in the final steps of it makes being apart right now so much easier. As does having this wonderful site with so many encouraging people.

Hi everyone!

Just curious as to what airlines you all have used in the past.

I've usually used V Australia or United.

Was looking at United again....but they have now decided to start charging $70USD for the second checked bag for flights from the 15th August. Thanks United - you couldn't wait another few days lol! I am looking at flying around the 18th August, and of course, this trip I have three suitcases to move all my ####### lol. My mum is coming so I was going to put one bag under her allowance....but now we will have to pay another $140 for our 2nd bags.

Any suggestions?

I used KoreanAir.. flew from bris to seoul then seoul to atlanta then to charlotte (charlotte was with delta) with them.. they were good, great service, good food, tvs in head rests with games and everything! i was set and happy! haha going via seoul was like 4-500 cheaper then going direct from bris to lax then to charlotte.. koreanair let me have like 23kgs per bag... try using space saver bags, the ones u suck the air out.. i used them and it worked great.. i bought over two bags! and when i got to charlotte at 12:30am us time, they had left my bags at atlanta so i stunk till the next morning.. haha

Thanks I'm kinda worried that if i'm this nervous now i'm gonna be a wreck on interview day, lol. i remember leading up to my medical i was all cool calm and collected.....then exactly a week before hand i had a mini break down from nerves, lol. and of course my medical went perfectly, lol

Hey Travis and Meghan, How long did it take to get your medical passed from Bridge St Clinic? I had mine on the 5th of July & had to send off Vaccination reports.

holy ####### thats quick! i'm sending my p3 tomorrow but i'm hoping they give me min. three weeks notice, lol

I had my medical on monday 11th and i got my results in the mail monday 18th so it really only took about five business days. actually, they must have sent it on friday cos i received it on a monday. quicker than i thought it would be anyway so yours shouldn't be too far off

oh, but if you mean when i passed it, i passed on the monday when i had it. i'd already had all my vaccinations and all the documentation for them. also had a letter from my doctor explaining another medical problem so they didnt need anything else from me
