What T&M said... she wouldn't need a letter from the bank unless requested if she makes over the 125%. If you look through the guide - (believe you're doing K-1) - it says, when she sends a copy of the packet to you, to also send a letter from her employer. So, as long as she'd send that, stating she makes enough, then you shouldn't have any worries.

Has anyone recently gotten a police certificate in Queensland? My fiance and I are just waiting on that last piece of information before our packet three is ready to go back to the consulate! I wish we had realized they were valid long enough to do them in advance. Ah well. We're just trying to figure out roughly when to expect it as I'm heading back to the U.S. next week and would love to have some kind of idea when the interview will be. Patiently waiting though, I guess that's all you can do. Congratulations to all those that have gotten approved recently!

Yes I got mine done on the Gold Coast and then it was processed through Brisbane. Took about 2 weeks from memory but I've read of late they're taking a little longer. Hang in there Once I sent packet 3 back the interview was about 3 weeks after that.

Thanks! It's been about two weeks now so every day I'm eagerly waiting on the mail lol just getting anxious as I would love to have his interview date before I leave Australia so I know how long we'll have to be apart this time. But at least we're in the final stretch.

i lived on the Gold Coast too... i just moved over to SC last tuesday, the police cert took a little over a month! you can email them at PIC.CLO@police.qld.gov.au and ask them if they can speed it up or see whats going on... hope this helps... once you send your P3 in it will be like 2-3 weeks away the interview.. you can always try writing a letter when you send ur p3 asking for the earliest appointment, dont know if it will work but worth a try mate... good luck! where in the states you moving too?

She makes over that, but thinks that they would want to see funds in there as well.(which she doesnt have savings) Will the letter from her work & bank letter be sufficient?

you can show a letter from the bank stating how much she had but when we did that they didnt even look at it and handed it back to me and when i asked did they see it they said no didnt see it even though it was in our paper work.. we put in her w2 and a letter stating how much she earnt, but we also had to use a co sponsor which handed in a w2, letter stating how much they earnt etc and I-134.. so really she only needs to give you a W2, letter and I-134

Thanks! If I don't get it today, I might try emailing them to see what is going on. We've already written a letter to go with my fiance's Packet 3 requesting the earliest interview date available. The express envelope is already sitting in my floor ready to go lol all it needs is the police certificate. Still hoping it might show up today sometime. We'll be living in WV when we are in the states.

Congrats. I had to get my vaccination reports faxed to them so I should hear something next week.

Congratulations on passing the medical and getting the Packet 3!

Finally got our police certificate today and our Packet 3 is now on its way to Sydney! Not much longer now!

i had my interview on the 14th of august which was a tuesday and i had to get them additional info after the interview which i did pretty quick and had the visa in my hand by tuesday of the next week... its roughly around 5 business days
