I believe it depends on the doctor. I know dr Millar here in Sydney will do it without the case number, but I have heard some other doctors won't...

Don't forget your medical expires too (12 months I think it is) so don't get it done too early or it might expire before you file your AOS and then you'd be stuck paying for another in the US :(

Ok....so I know my process is a little different to most of you here in the Aussie forum (I'm doing CR-1, most seem to have done/are doing K-1).

Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know we just got our Sign In Fail and Case Complete at the NVC! We are so excited! We have been waiting forever to get it...due to the fact that the NVC had problems with our marriage documentation, which has somehow become 'acceptable' in the last 24hrs, even though it wasn't 3 weeks ago!

So, now we are waiting on getting the interview at Sydney assigned. Hopefully it will be in early August, since the NVC's mistake set us back and prevented us from getting a July one.

Soooooo happy now, just the interview to go and I will get to go 'home'

Hi I had my medical done today in Melbourne with Dr Charles. You don't need your case number for it, first the receptionist will give you some paper to fill in, you need your passport as an identification. Then Dr Charles will see you, he will perform general checks, height, weight, hearing, eyesight and then he will listen to your breathing. He also look at your mouth and ears, then you lay down and he will start pressing your stomach. You will go get your blood test, xray and vaccine after. Total cost for me with two vaccine is $446.50

My fiance in the US is filling out the I-134 Form and with Question 11: it ask "I intend" or I do not intend....

She is a little confused and by reading what others put on there and the example letter it says N/A filling for K1/Permanent Residency Visa)

What do we put?

Also with that form, she Doesnt own her own house, or property or that kind of stuff. Is there a minimal they look for.

She works full time for the same company for about 3 years, any advice on anything extra we can put in?

we need it sent by Monday

the only time i ever got US size passport photos taken was for the interview.. the medical one i got aussie size ones.. but i guess its probably better to get the US size ones, just go to any camera shop... i dont know if the post office does them but i just went to Teds Cameras up here on the goldie.. but just google melbourne camera shops and they will do it to your size...and they will probably give you like 8 pictures or something like that and just keep them because you will need a couple for the interview..

she will need a letter from her work stating how long she been there, how much she earns, how many hours and what type of work like full time/part time.. i know shes got to earn over a certain amount to be able to sponsor u but not sure what that is... someone else on here might be able to tell ya.. i guess any savings in a bank account might help too,

the #11 question i would put as the example letter says on this site "N/A ( K1 visa process for permanent residence )" as from reading that its not required but someone else on here might know abit more then me... dont rush your forms too much mate, from seeing your time line and knowing your going through vermont, you still have plenty of time.. they are the slowest of service centres... which sucks cos i went through them too!

hope this helps mate

I personally used this website for AOS: http://www.epassportphoto.com/ When I did the K1 I had my photos done in a photo booth because the photos are AMAZING! There's one in Chaddy (probably other places as well).. i'm trying to remember the name of the booth... Here: http://www.photo-me.com.au/home/default.asp It prints US size, helps you take the photo (make sure your head AND hair is inside the circle, not just your face.. learnt that the hard way). There are lights all around the mirror which helps make your skin look even, and eyes look sparkly :) Its great :D

well did you use her as your sponsor when you applied? if she makes enough then you will be right... but if you do need a co sponsor like i did, i would reccomend a family member of hers who earns enough... but i think you should be fine mate, dont stress.. have a look at this page.. http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864p.pdf i dont know if you or your partner have kids or anything.. but seeing as though your partner has a full time job i think she will be right mate..
