Got back from out honeymoon this morning, and it was such a nice feeling to come back into the US using the citizen/resident line! 20 minutes between getting off the plane and getting on a shuttle outside the terminal to get home! And we got a lovely CBP officer to boot

Welcome back! Which airport is this through? When I flew back to the Seattle in March my husband and I were instructed to go through the non-US citizen line because I had a green card and they needed to take my biometrics. Kind of annoying!

As a side note, my tickets and my passport were in different names. (Passport in maiden, ticket in married). It wasn't a hassle, I carried a copy of our marriage licence with us and showed both my green card and passport when checking in with Aeromexico.

Well, so far I can pack my entire personal belongings into 2 cardboard boxes... I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that.

LMAO Nice Well I have a serious attack of the giggles - I never got my engagement ring before leaving the US - we had so much to do while I was there that I was happy for him to deal with this once I'd gone.

He went shopping today and found exactly what he was looking for. Apparently the average ring size for a female in the US is 6.5 to 8.5. I however am apparently a size 12 bwahahahahahhahahaa. I shall from hereonin be referred to as little Miss Fat Fingers

And in other news my interview is a week tomorrow and I'm beginning to feel rather sick - can I claim the crown of being the first Australian in VJ history of being declined?????

All good - found it!

I use paypal. It's $5 to send money (I sent $1000 just the other day). No conversion fee. and for my bank in Australia it costs $1.50 to take out money less than $150 or it's free if it's more than $150. They also work off the CURRENT exchange rate (unlike some sites)

I have a paypal in Australia in my maiden name linked to an account at home and one here in America linked to my US account. The money I sent the other day (Monday) will take 3-5 business days to receive it. I'll get an email from my US paypal account telling me the funds are there. Pretty happy with the fees to be honest.
