Fingers crossed for you AustoUSA :) My K1 is with VSC and my NOA1 date was 13 April and no NOA2 yet (although I did get an RFE and that was answered 2 weeks ago). So I sit and wait and wait and wait lol. In fact I think I'm now going to ban myself from the April filers forum - another 2 got their NOA2 today *sigh*. I was really hoping to be back in Texas on 1 October but right now that aint looking so great. Oh well time to go yell at someone at work instead hehehehehehe :P Happy days to everyone.

You bunch of super nerds... WoW seriously? :P

lol, we are not nerds :-p. Actually we think it is pretty cool cause we are not gamers and he won't have anything to do with a computer outside of the game. We both started playing cause we each had someone get us to try it. The only reason we continue to play now is that it is an easy cheap way to stay in touch. We actually talk about weather or not we will continue to play when he gets here, probably won't.

04/08 Met online playing World of Warcraft

09/08 Met in person for the first time

(3 more trips in between)

05/10 File I29F to get him here so we live happily ever after <3

Some people come into our lives and queitly stay. Others stay for awhile, leaving foot prints in hearts and we are never the same.

I'm with you T&I :) Ted and I met with Mafia Wars and I continue to play it as a timewaster for now but once I move to the States I'm not really inclined to continue with it - I have a great new world to explore and an awesome partner (and his daughter) to explore it with - computers (except for keeping in touch with friends and family in Oz) are going to be the last thing on my mind :)

:) don't get me wrong, I didn't say it was a bad thing haha!

Will be a shock to my system when I move over to Colorado... My job is sitting on a pc 8hrs a day... But when I go over (instead of full time work) I'll be going to snowboard and finally study my #### off...

Kinda looking forward to not needing to stress so much hah...

Matt and I met online and we're both WoW and Guild Wars players so I was surprised that we didn't meet somehow while playing (given how much we both used to play) but I think once we're back together we won't want much to do with computers for a while. I think we're both planning on playing GW2 when it comes out and we both love video games so it's been nice to meet someone who loves them as much as I do. /nerd

In visa related news... nothing. Sent P3 last Wednesday and I was really hoping to get P4 this week (and have an interview before August) but I'm not sure if that's a realistic goal. Back to looking at September flights, haha.

Eric & I have not logged into Second Life in almost a year...we chose to walk away from there and spent many hours wasting time playing games on facebook LOL Now that we are married & together we spend no time online when he is home..the night he is in the office for work we chat in msn until I go to bed around 1am and we both still do Mafia Wars as our little friendly competition amongst ourselves. Our computers are used to keep in touch with our children and family in AUS but we love not being tied to them any longer.

I think you should Bex - you know you want to for giggles sake.

Now question time - I got my Oz police certificate today (quite impressive as it only took 9 days) but am wondering if I was just supposed to get a one page police certificate. Were there supposed to be copies of my fingerprints with it? If not then what on earth did I pay $158 for??? lol Sorry just panicking the police may have cocked up.

TBH I wouldn't have a clue what I would take to prove it... they already have my birth cert, deed poll etc... Mum filled out the AOS and is the petitioner... I'm not sure what else I could possibly take that would prove that I am her son

LOL Bex!

I have to admit I opened mine when I got it back in January & looked at it & was like 'Are they serious? This piece of boring blue paper cost me $175!!'

So now we all basically have a piece of very expensive paper that says we are boring people who have not done a damn thing wrong .... in the eyes of the law LOL!
