I know it is such an awesome relief. I had to read my 797 fifty times over before it sunk in. Then I called my hubby in Iran, which is a 8 1/2 difference and woke him 3:30am. As the petitioner, it takes so much work, time and effort and is very stressful and mentally exhausting. It is just relief and overwhelming happiness. You will really react when you get NVC notice that your case is complete. That is where we are as of March 5. The next contact by NVC is the interview date, which we hope is in April. Rejoice my VJ friend and CONGRATULATIONS!

Congratulations for a speedy approval!You are lucky.Yes it will be forwarded to NVC give it a week or 2 to have it in thier office. YOu will receive a letter from NVC with case # on it in your home address.Then you can call .

Speak with the customer representative. Best time to call are between 7:30am till 09:30am EST. After that the waiting period is more but keep trying. Then between 6:00pm till 7:00pm EST.

Hello, I recently just had my wife's I-130 approved also. Now I am waiting for word from NVC. What is the first step paying the fee?

Dec 9,2008 - Sent I-130 application to Chicago Lockbox

Dec 16, 2008 - Package arrived at Lockbox

Jan 16th, 2009 - Transfered to CSC

March 8th, 2009 - Recieved Approval notice in Mail.
