Sounds fun Fuzzness..... I don't know yet. My husband tends to not like V-day (says its Hallmark propoganda) *rolls eyes* I am still trying to train him. I think I might have to take some of the day into my own hands.

This is my DH and my first Valentine's day together, so we've been tossing around a number of ideas to make it a memorable day.

We've decided that we'll be spending it at Valentine Soiree at the conservatory near our house. We absolutely love this place, and are hoping to have a renewal of vows there when we have the extra income.

Wow, it looks beautiful. This is my first Valentines with my husband as well. Its hard to think of what to do, he works second shift so he don't get home till late. I am still think of doing something though, we will see.

Me and my husband are not really doing anything for V-day but we plan to buy something for each other. I asked him what he wants and he said he wants a gun... :blink: yeah right...so he can shoot me in the head with it on V-day....LOL

actually he said he wants a gun because he's working in an area where he doesn't feel safe with...but I told him, you're supposed to get something you want, not something you need on that special day, right?

Valentine's Day...like most other holidays....are commercialised days. It just so happens that I was able to take some time to fly to Nova Scotia to be with my beloved Joel. Of course I like the idea of spending VDay with my sweetness...but, I'm not one that needs chocolates, flowers, cards, etc. Just to be with him will be enough. I'm very much in love...everyday is VDay. (L)

Im Patches....I would be Keigwyn"s other half....On Monday when he called he asked what i would like for valentines....I told him that would be him of course...It was a nice wish to think....He called me at work on Tuesday...asking if i remenber what he asked me....I thought to myself dang he asked me alot of things...so basically I had to say give me a hint....He said about valentines..of course i said yes...I want him...Then with a smile to his voice...he said he'd see me on Sunday.....So my love will be with me...what more could a girl ask for....I love ya Keigwyn...

Well, I said it in another Valentine's thread....but....I'm so excited I'll say it again....

Hubster and I won a Valentine's Day raffle at one of our favorite restaurants....it's a four course dinner for two and drinks!!!!!!! FREE!!! :dance:(L)(L):dance: We were going to just go to this pizza place that is going to be serving heart shaped pizzas, but this is waaaaaaaaaay better!!! It's an early dinner, so I plan for us to come home and watch the Valentine's Charlie Brown special that is on TV that night....Peanuts is his very favorite cartoon. And then after that....well, that's none of your business... :blush:

I have a giftie for him, but I won't say anything because he lurks around this site... :unsure: hehehe...

This is our first Valentine's Day together as well, even though we've been married over two years!! So I really did want it to be special....and yeah, yeah, Valentine's Day is commercial, blah, blah, ...you love someone, you don't need Valentine's Day...blah, blah....but you can still make it a special day without falling into some commercial trap.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE MY HUBSTER!!! :wub::wub::wub:

I don't like/celebrate V-day at all... it is like you are forced to make everything goes perfect in that day...My Honey thinks just like me so.. everything will be fine :wub:

i told sanita that Valentine's day is only for U.S. citizens to celebrate and she needs to buy me something...as for her..well in about 4 years then she can join in :whistle:
