Hi all,

Sorry if this seems like a silly question to some of you, but I am getting all the things I need around to send the first I-129F package to the USCIS, and I am wondering: What is the best way to put it all together? With all the photos, ticket stubs, emails, forms, etc. Should I get plastic paper covers and use those for each individual item? Or should I just use paper clips? Can I just put everything in a manila envelop? Should I use a folder? Should I put it in a binder? What did you all do?

Thank you,

Emily

Everything you assemble will be immediately taken apart and put into the USCIS file and look like everyone else's after arrival. Fancy packages do nothing to help your case (or hurt it)

Paper clip the associated documents together (ie all pages of passport) then put a binder clip on the whole thing. A cover letter with index is nice, but not needed. I put the photos in plastic, ziplock sandwich bags to protect them.

They like 8 1/2 X 11 sheets of paper, as they fit in the file best; so, whenever possible, photo copy all of the originals

and save the originals for interview time. We even photo copied the photos (not the passport ones, but the ones that helped to prove the relationship).
