Hi! I finally called the NVC AVR again and found out that the message has been changed. It says,

"The NVC is waiting the return of the biographic form from the petitioner, once this packet is received, allow 6 to 8 weeks for reviewing of all your documentations and you will be notified for the outcome of the review."

What does this mean? I did a research about this and found some info about different NVC messages. I found this message in one forum and it says it meant : DS230 GENERATED. and again, what does this mean?

My husband sent the I864 and my DS230 at the same time but in different envelops last March 2. Does this message means that my husband needs to send them more info about the ds230?

I also want to know what to expect NEXT after this message. THANKS SO MUCH to all of you..

Don't rely on NVC message, a lot of times they don't update. If your husband has sent both i-864 and ds-230 then talk to a customer representative on monday. Hopefully both the packets have entered the system together.

And once both the packets have been reviewed and there are no additional documents required, your case will be completed. Then depends upon which date of the month your case gets complete you will be notified of your interview date. But again, don't rely on NVC AVR, talk to the customer representative.

Dont worry, it happened to me also, our atty sent our DS-230 and I-864 at the same time, then AVR has also that msg when i called, then after i think 4-5 days they had checked our docs and we only had RFE which is wrong entry on my daughter's I-864W. If you sent it dont worry They will check all your docs.

Yeah, I had that exact same message. It drove me nuts!

It means that they aren't completely finished looking at your papers--nothing to worry about.

A few days later it had changed to a message saying they received my papers and were reviewing them, then case complete!

Here's a quick review of my calls:

I called and got a guy who told me that my I-864EZ was complete and they were reviewing the DS-230.

The next day I called and got a woman who told me that they were reviewing my papers.

I said to her, "I spoke to someone last night and was told my I-864 was complete." and she just repeated the AVR message again...

I hung up, immediately called back and was told my case was complete!

Getting the right operator makes all the difference...

But yeah, don't sweat that message. And the AVR is usually a day or 2 behind the actual progress, if you call you'll know for sure (assuming you got an operator who's willing to do their job.)

Chances are that your DS-230 has been received, but due to timing of your AOS and DS-230 packages being put into the system. I had the same issue with the timing of the AOS and DS-230 packages. Call NVC on Monday to see if they have received the DS-230 package, and chances are the AVR has just not been updated.
