Lack of good spelling and grammar on a message board generally denotes poor education - or youth. Dropping capitalization does not denote being 'softly spoken'. What bullcrap. I don't really give a ######, just pointing out what I have noticed.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

What I want to know is why there are two 'justashooters'. One who can use capitals and paragraphs (which sound like they are pieced together from bits and pieces of other work) and one who doesn't even know that i am should be I am. Most odd.

Sometimes I capitalise. Often I do not. It depends on my mood. People writing on the net often use an absence of capitalisation to imply soft speaking (the opposite of CAPS LOCK, if you will). i would have expected you to know that.

which is pretty much why i type all in lower case.

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

Nah, you are either just a lazy ######, lack education, or are trying to be 'young and trendy'. Softly spoken? What a bunch of #######.

If you want to understand a traditional idealised Chinese marriage, you need to read Tao Te Ching. It is a set of about 90 proverbs given by Lao Tsu to a young emperor; instructions on how an emperor should rule his kingdom. They are wonderful instructions by which a man may rule his own "kingdom", and center on the concepts of humility and service, choosing always in the interest of the good of those ruled, rather than he who rules.

"The wise man walks among his people not in fine clothes, nor with a retinue, for his jade (most valuable posession and symbol of power) is in his heart. He changes them in a way by which they are not aware, so that later they would say, 'But it has always been so' "... "He makes no arbitrary rules, for these will only anger the people. He makes rules by which they may gain".

I studied The Tao ten years before I ever imagined I would work in China. It was part of a "journey of self exploration". I have benefitted by the reading of The Tao more than by comparable study of Bhuddism/Islam and found that The Tao is superior to Christian teaching for the self-actualised man for the same reason that is is superior to other religions. The Tao is pure principle related to control of self, in thought and deed. It is not a fantasy based God religion, rather a philosophy by which a man may create and protect his own dignity, and benefit those within his care. I build these concepts into my relationship with my wife. It works well for us, but then, she's Chinese. YMMV.

Good grief, look #######, I do know why most people don't use capitals and other forms of punctuation on message boards, for whatever reason they haven't learned to use a keyboard to full effect and it means nothing more than that. I certainly don't judge people simply based on their use of a keyboard.

Justashooter on the other hand switches between different styles of writing, sometimes capitalizations, sometimes not, sometimes paragraphs correctly used, sometimes not, sometimes using all correct punctuation, sometimes not. That is odd, whichever way you slice it.

and the catwoman rarely completes a paragrab, usually relying on one line zingers in her attacks.

she rarely makes an independent and original statement, perhaps because she can't generate one that would be defensible.

So you can see how a Taoist man is ideally suited for the role of an older husband. He cares for his wife as he would anyone needing guidance, encouraging her to grow in an healthy direction, having completed the revant stages in his own life. This is possible with an asian woman. It may not work well with a westernised woman.
