Okay, in about 7 months my husband will need to submit paperwork to adjust his status to permanent resident and obtain his 10 year green card. Right now he has an I-94 card which he got when he entered the country and two months after that he got his EAD card. We will not have to prove our relationship because he came as a refugee though he was referred for refugee processing because he was married to a US citizen. I'm not really sure how things will work as far as paperwork or if he will have an interview. I think refugees also have a discount on the fees for the application, but I'm not sure if I read that right. If anyone who knows anything on this could give me advice I would greatly appreciate it.

You will find your answers here: Fee schedule

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Okay, I checked your link (thank you), and it confirmed that I don't pay any fees to adjust my husband's status, but I'm still not sure if there will be an interview and I also wonder how long it takes for approval.
