No case status online? After biometrics taken?!

Hi there,

Just had my biometrics taken a week ago. I had a look at the case tracking system and it doesn't have my number (not the I-130 or I-485) on it: both the phoneline and the website. I notice my number has 'MSC' before it so it pretty much prevents me from dialling it in on my phone.

Should I be worried about this? And how long after my biometrics should I expect some kind of notice?

Adam the MSC******** is your receipt number and that's what you use to track your case online, that's not the telephone number. Anyway when you call USCIS and they ask for your receipt number use the numbers that represents MSC (672) on the telephone pad. The online status has not been updated for many of us since we got our first touch but if you read the forums you will see where persons are reporting that even without a touch or a change in status they are receiving mail. For some of us we are still waiting patiently. You just took your biometrics a week ago so no need to rush. I called FBI and was told that the result from my fingerprint was sent to USCIS the very day it was done. I guess we just have to wait a while. All the best
