A cop mistakenly arrested me 3months ago as I was driving a friend of mine's car who had warrant of arrest, he did not respond to his tickets, they found out it wasn't me and dropped the charges and so will I get in trouble with immigration if I say am never arrested before ? and will immigration even find out ? I need help here because is not me to be arrested and am a law enforcement student...

Suggest you look into (if needed) getting your record expunged...(not the same as charges dropped)

best to get some kind of official documents from the court stating those facts as you posted, make sure they are stamp/sealed by the agency issuing the statement. That way if it becomes an issue it is easily corrected and won't waste a lot of time for you. Preparation is the key to a smooth journey. Good Luck on your VJ
