Hi

We are Johanne and Silas! We just joined VJ today!

We want to introduce ourselves:

I lives in Texas! Johanne is French Canadian but living now in Caribbean (for work)!

We met online in November 2007...First met in person in January 2008 in Canada (Man, was it cold!...Don't know how you French Canadians handle that weather!!!

We got engaged at Valentine's Day 2008! We see each other once a month! I usually fly to see her in the Caribbean!

We talk online or on the phone every day...(99% online because phone call where she lives are very expensive)

We are a perfect match and we realise God brought us together!

She is looking forward to moving to Texas as soon as she will get her Visa...

We want to say Hi to everyone and that we like this website a lot...We have been reading a lot of the post and we have learned a great deal!

I'm sure we will be asking a lot of question soon!

Regards,

Johanne and Silas

P.S. We wanted to add some pics but we couldn't ! What should we do?

Welcome to VJ, and good luck with your fiancee visa.

You might want to check out the Canada Forum as well - we're a friendly bunch of Canadians and Americans with a wealth of experience about the various aspects of Canadians relocating to the US.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Hello:

And welcome. I am a native Texan (raised in Runnels County southwest of Abilene) now living 6 miles from the Quebec border and fluent French speaker. Our weather on this side of the line is the same as Montreal and I can only say...the summers make it all worthwhile.

Good luck, I hope we can help and say hello to your fiancee!
