She arrived last week. After a few days of cold, wet snow, some cancelled flights and 2 days of lost power in the house, things are finally starting to feel more normal! Yesterday, we applied for her SS card. They said it would take about 2 weeks to receive and we will, of course, be married within 90 days. My question is , whats next?? :help: Will I receive further instructions from immigration or my local service center? I have read some of the instruction pages here on VJ, but I am still not too sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for all who have helped with our process so far!

Marc

Congrats on her arrival. Have a read of the guide for people adjusting from K1 visa's. You will not be contacted by you local service center, it is up to you to file for the next step at the correct time.

Once you are married and you have a copy of your marriage certificate you can then file for AOS and EAD and AP. All is explained in the guide.

Use this time to read the forms and start filling them in so you can file as soon as posible after you are married.

Good Luck

Congratulations, and good luck! I'm sure you'll find the visa journey instructions to be incredibly helpful, as my husband and I did. We didn't use an attorney, and so far, no RFEs!
