Dont worry buddy, there's a reason for everything that you might realize a bit later, you know kinda same thing happened to me, i'm stuck now for my school here and its good the visa came now, so i dont have to go back to bulgaria in a few months when i actually wont be able to back...i'm sure God is protecting you and your family by this way, He always have plan for everyone and do the best for us Stay strong, you deserve my admiration for what you're going through, you do!!! I think your right Dani and once I get to the US and we file it will not only be less stress but hopefully much easier then this time around. Part of me looks back at what has happened to us in this process already and thinks I should have realised it was going to end poorly (we never even had a case number till a month ago and it doesnt even show on the system).

Mia thanks for keeping me in your prayers I hope to be able to tell everyone about my NOA2 in the coming months, I can tell you know that post on these forums will be one of the happiest days....

I'll try to hang in there, it's incredibly hard knowing that we are so close and all we need a pink paper for all of us to be reunited. But I make the best out of it, with this delay I can

- Save more money

- Plan for next trip in July (If no VISA by then)

Worst come to worst I will move back, marry her there.......... it's not the end of the world.

I know you Fred try to not have really great expectations maybe to not be disappointed later and as i thought i'd be stuck here and was very surprised last week same its going to happen to you guys, Mara and Fred, there will be always someone here,,,i'll be here too, as i said i'm stuck with school till end of may and then if everything is fine i'll go to usa and still visit this site so count on me too B)

Hi Chris and Mara, so sorry to hear that they lost your case. Just to let you know that I'm still here waiting for my NOA2, one of the last August filers, although I was actually the first because we got our NOA1 on August first. Have no idea why it's taking so long, can't seem to get any info and our lawyer isn't any help. Since you've had to re-file does that you mean you have to pay the processing fees all over again?

Well, got the last bit of paperwork I needed to file AOS for my wife, we applied for a state ID again and this time it wasn't a problem (just had to have a better 'proof of residence' mailing with her name and address on it) but they don't print off a card and give it to her right there, instead we get a receipt, I don't know if that's due to the name change (from a recent marriage), the fact it's a first time ID, or if it's because she's from another country... it kind of seems like maybe my first ID was like that too but I really don't remember, it was quite a while ago.

Anyway, in addition to all that fun, our wedding rings are finally sized and should be able to pick them up tonight, which is something to look forward to, we haven't gotten nearly enough wear out of them yet.

Caroline, try to contact your congressman, senator, ombudsman, they will help you, or at least i hope so, our congressman contacted us after our case was transferred to nvc to make sure we got the letter for the noa2, she was an amazing woman and found our case, good luck:)
