Good Morning all!

Just got off the phone to Chris, our lawyer had called and left us a Voicemail with the following information:

USCIS requested a continuance of two days till Friday, this is good on the fact that they were allowed up to 4 days but choose to take only 2. He then went and approached their bench after the session and asked them straight up "Do you intend to fight this" apparently they responded to have little to no intention of fighting it.

So he thinks that this will be done simply and quickly (i really hoped his is right) he also hinted at the fact that he has a feeling there is a chance that they will front court with our NOA2 in hand on Friday. But we will have to wait and see. I will keep you all posted.

THAYANI: I don't think that's a problem, as long as you embassy already contacted you about the case, so how they handle the appointment?, they didn't give you an appointment date before hand?. Or is it that you have to schedule the apptmt. whenever you are ready like in the Phillipines?. Other members what do you think about the 2nd noa validity date?.

Good luck!

5 weekss?? sad.gif.. well my fiance called..t hey said it takes about 2 weeks..and he shld receive it this week..if not call next week. So hopefully, it is not 5 weeks. Well i have another question..u said it took u 5 weeks from u sending the checklist till u received a interview notice. how many weeks or days was it all together from checklist send till interview date??? Another month from the 5 weeks? thanks

Are you dealing with London?

If so, I'm pretty sure you need to wait longer than 2 weeks. If you go to the UK forum on here, you'll see that most people had to wait a month or so before they heard back about an interview. From when they sent me packet 4 with the interview date, it was only about 2 weeks or so until the actual interview. So all in all, from the time you send in packet 3, you should only be waiting 6 weeks or so before you get the decision. Look at my timeline for details.

Wow Freddy, that cost so much money for the CS! I'm a bit concerned now, hopefully there won't be any problems with the medical things. I need to get one vaccine and then have the form signed, but I hear many CS's want you to pay for an entire medical exam.

Good news, Mara! Let us know what they say today.

I'm very sorry to hear that, Candy. I'm thinking of you.

HD, we're also planning on sending the AOS stuff in August or September. I really hope we get the AP quickly though as I want to see my friends and family before Christmas!
