FINALLY DANI & CHRIS ARE APPROVED, CHRIS JUST CALLED ME TO TELL ME WE GOT ONE LETTER THAT WE'RE STILL N BACKGROUND CHECK AND THE NEXT LETTER WAS THE NOA2, THEY ARE BAD TILL THE END, WE GOT BY POST MAIL OHH I HAVE BEEN CRYING, SCREAMING, AND SO HAPPY THAT I BELIEVE ITS NOT TRUE, THANK GOD OUR PAIN IS OVER

07-02-2009 Lawyer submitted our suit to court

07-17-2009 Court day 2: Success, must respond by 21st August. - No result ever came from this.

10/06/2009 Withdrew K1 petition

10/10/2009 Married

10/24/2009 CR1 packet completed and posted

10/26/2009 Packet arrived at Chicago - And Submitted our Aussie application

11/04/2009 Application of CR1 returned - was rejected because of a "blurry zip code" we didn't bother to re-apply given that Chris had lost his job

04/05/2010 Australian application still pending

September 2010 - Chris arrived in Australia on Temporary Visa.

10/10/2011 - 2 year wedding anniversary - Chris to be granted Australian Permanent Residency

Summer 2012 - Planned immigration to USA.

I-130 for Parents (Mom and Dad)

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

N400:
4.26.2013: Mailed N400 Packet

5.21.2013: Biometrics

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview

9.25.2013: Oath Ceremony

Haha you will all be waiting a while, USCIS told us that even with an expedite it was going to take 3 months to NOA2. So we file at the end of this month..... should be ready for my NOA2 post come end of June/July.......

Figure i might get to go home for good come September....

i'll be here for awhile, even though i have NOA 2, China takes awhile to send out the packets and issue interview dates... i am hoping to hear something by the end of this month...

i cant believe this time it wasnt me saying congratulations :D

sooner or later dreams do come true, believe!!!!

i'll be able to travel june only, need to take my exams first :)

When I read that you got your approval, the excitement I felt when we got approved was felt again!

Even tough it wasnt easy we never loose hope for us, our case was forwarded to NVC and we'll be calling them in a week see how things are there :)

As Chris said, The love is worth it, it worth waiting, it worth fighting :)

Mara, i'm sure this time everything will be easier, plus you're going to visit US and when you're together you wont feel time passing, right :)

Even though I wasn't part of the original group of folks, I'm still waiting for our NOA2 as well. So, bump the count up to to "two more to go."

August 18, 2008-sent I-129F to VSC

August 20, 2008-I-129F delivered!

August 21, 2008-NOA1

August 26, 2008-Obtained case number from VSC!!!

March 21, 2009-NOA2

March 25, 2009-Learned that case received by NVC on March 24, 2009 & obtained CDJ case number!

March 26, 2009-Learned that case was sent to CDJ Embassy on March 25, 2009!!!

March 27, 2009-Received hardcopy NOA2!

As of March 16, 2009, we have had no touches and are still waiting for the NOA2.

Update: March 21, 2009-NOA2, email notification on March 23, 2009.

Update: March 25, 2009-Case at NVC!

Update: March 25, 2009-Case sent to CDJ!!!

PAid the deposit for my wedding gown yippeeyay! No news about my visa delivery yet. It's just the third day. I don't think there should be any reason for me to worry... M trying my best. :)

:dancing: I am so happy to find Dani is approved before I take off!. I hope to see more good news. I'll be around too Mara, I love VJ!.

I'll be flying tonight so this is my last post for now, I'll be back March the 26th. The inteview is Monday at 1:30 PM so wish me luck. If I have internet acces and time, I'll try to post the results, if not then I'll let you know early on the 26th.

03/25/09 - Visa on hand! he went to DHL office after phone call received.

04/18/09 - My Cuchi came, (NYC)a wonderful unbelievable moment!:)

04/20/09 - We applied for marriage licence. (Township Municipal Bldg Health Dept.)

04/23/09 - Licence on hand

04/29/09 - Applied for Social Security (He was in system!)

04/30/09 - Wedding day!!! Yeeebaa

05/07/09 - SS card in mail. "valid for work only with DHS authorization"

05/13/09 - Sent AOS paperwork.

06/16/09 - Biometrics Apptmt.

06/25/09 - EAD Card in mail!

06/26/09 - Letter saying case transfered to Cali.

08/08/09 - Residence Card in Mail! Yuuupiiiiiii.

THE END FOR 2 MORE YEARS.
