Good luck Cuchita! And everyone else that has been granted visas.

My fiance landed back in the states a couple of hours ago.

HD, I can't wait either! The countdown begins! One month and 18 days (if everything goes to plan!)

Second page again, uhoh.

Otherwise, there's not much to say. I'm back to work as of yesterday, my fiance is back in the US and.. that's about it. My dress is being made, but other than picking out the fabric and getting some general idea, I don't know what exactly is being designed and tailored. I like that designer's work, though, so we decided to trust her on this one.

I've been studying and will keep doing so. Hopefully everything at school can and will be done before we plan to have me in the US.

The K1 Visa is good for entry to the USA one time only and up to six(6) months once you enter, you have 3 months(90 days) to marry...that's what the CO told me.

Dani, I STRONGLY suggest you contact the embassy about this error on your visa. It will turn into a bigger problem in the USA if you don't get it corrected before you leave. All the information on the visa should be correct.

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

I found this in other topic, could it be right? :

The wrong birth year on the visa, shouldn't cause any problem entering the US. Clearly the visa itself is valid. You can deal with the date issue during your AOS filing. Ultimately, the visa will probably only get him into the US one time and all future travel will be with a correct green card. Even if you do use the visa to enter more than once, I don't think anybody will compare the birth year on the passport to that on the visa.

oh well i'll call just in case to be really sure...

Dani its best to call and find out

When i applied for SSN, Bank Account, Marriage licence , reference was made to my visa not the details on my passport all the time. I noticed too that at the point of entry the entered data based on my visa. I'd think that its best to have a clarification from the embassy.

I JUST GOT THE EMAIL! Apparently they told the senator's office before they emailed it. I GOT MY NOA2 TODAY (email). Now I think I do nothing and wait for it to get to her country? Another learning curve now that I'm FINALLY through this step!

8 1/2 months for NOA2 but better late than never. I was getting sooo depressed. I have to wait for her to wake up to tell her the great news!

Funny I called USCIS before the notice came and told them I was advised it was approved and NOA2 was done but USCIS gave the the same polite runaround BS and absolutely no information as usual. She said they only had access to the same info I do (I told her I doubted that) so she switched into polite computer-like answer prescripted answer mode (you know where they pretend you just called, restate your question then say "do I have that right"? and all this other useless stuff having nothing to do with the question). Amazing they have an enitire call center that's completely useless other than to politely tell u to jump in a lake and look at your computer since they don't have anything diff..

but who cares now....I have NOA2 (now I gotta worry about the interview with Mr. meanie and Mrs. "no have in file" assistant. I'll make sure we get doubles of all original paperwork needed from here out so when they pull that "no have in file" she can pull out another original. I don't know why they play this game with 95% of the interviews but I don't care as long as I know how to help her get through it. I wish things were predictable, fair and measurable but it wouldn't be the US if it was!
