HD you apear a sincere person , very humble. The pressures alone from this K1 process is frustrating and for us to endure added pressures from elsewhere such as inquisitive co-workers, the reality of leaving love ones, etc... can really be overwhelming. We've had our moment too ......I/he apologized......without a doubt to me you are not paranoid...... annoyed or upset, perhaps.....so am I at times...but you'll soon be back to the happy, cheerful character you always are here...guaranteed!

Fred...you have the patience of the Bible character "JOB".......I admire that.........you're just my VJ hero...and I hope your situation is resolved immediately.

Thank Fred I know the waiting sucks and up until this point I had been feeling really positive about our whole re-filing and everything else, now I'm just worried that we will be in the same boat as last time *sigh* does this ever end?

HD, I know the issue, before Chris came to visit me last December (about the 5months of being apart mark) I was doing the exact same thing, and all of a sudden my "I don't know how people can fight with those they love online" went out the window. I was being irrational and childish and yet I couldn't seem to stop myself...

I know the 2 of you will sort it out, you have been through too much not to. As my mum tells me every time I get upset about this, "if your relationship can survive this step it will be stronger then ever and will be able to take anything the world throws at it".

Thanks a lot Ranchris. I am better now. I think its' got a lot to do with the distance. We have talked and of course the big girl that i am I cried and apologized. I am being a ##### right now and I feel so bad that i have to subject him to so much aggravation. It just wasn't a very good timing.

Sister let me tell you I am in the same situation right now, my So is just insane! there's no way to talking to him, anything I tell him he gets it the wrong way, he is trying to get ready to take the plane tomorrow night and at the same time spends a lot of time with his sick grandma, so he feels pressured because I call him, I only call him because I want to tell him all the things he has to bring and he takes it like if I am bothering him and not letting him spend time with his family.

Thank God he wrote me an e-mail accepting he is stressed and apologizing, cause otherwise I will start to think he doesn't want to come here anymore.

So dear HD if by talking on the phone doesn't resolve anything, then write him an e-mail and tell him you want a family with him and he is the love of your life!.

Hello August Filers!

It's been a long time since I've posted in here because Bill is still in England with me. He was supposed to be here for 4 weeks but there were a lot of issues to deal with, both with us and everything around me. You know how it is, the K1 process along with work/uni stresses, family stresses, money stresses... I don't have much time to be online and to be honest, I don't miss it much! (though of course, I miss you guys..) I often think of you all and wonder how your journeys are going.

I recieved an interview today. FINALLY.. we waited 8 months to get here, so it's quite comforting to know the end date, after all of the misfortunes of delays with paperwork and medical stuff. Our date is May 5th. We still need to send over the financial information and still need to make a scrapbook of our relationship evidence but then we're home free.

I can tell you now, I never knew this K1 stuff could possibly be such an exhausting ride.. I started off feeling positive and even excited, but it really knocks it out of you, doesn't it? I can be completely fine, but then one person asks me about "haven't you got that visa yet?" and the frustration builds up again.. our relationship has really been through it lately, even resentment has come up over this visa and moving business. We've talked a lot these past couple of months about how to make changes to stress each other out less.

How is everyone doing? I see that Mara has applied again. I really think this journey will be a lot less annoying than the last one sweetie, the expedite should help a bundle. And a 3 month visit?? Wow! Enjoy all the time you have together and support one another of course. I see that HD is all ready to go? When is the official flying day, sis? I see that Freddy is still waiting in AP??!?! I'm appauled at that, man.. I don't undestand much about the AP process, if you can call it that. But I really hope you and Emilia are hanging in there, you'll shortly be together, I'm sure. How is everyone else?

HD - I can relate to what you are going thru , i had that a few times at home. Its all about the frustrations of this process and long distance between us and our loved ones. I left home a week after i got my visa and as much as i was excited about coming to be with my fiance, i was sad and torn inside the pain () leaving my family behind. My mum's sad eyes and my sisters tears still linger in my mind. I know she was happy for me but i think just the long distance to be was finally a reality. My jaja ( grandmum) said a prayer on phone, before i switchedit off. I have been a flight attendant for 5 years until i quit to join my fianc'e , i enjoyed TAKEOFFS the most but this timeround i was ripped apart as I TOOK OFF!!

Haha thanks Gemmie We have missed you around here. I am so glad that you have a final date for everything that is awesome news (as is the fact that you and Bill have been able to be together for a while) it is nice that you really now have an end in sight.

I am really hoping that as you said this time round it will be easier, hopefully we will got our NOA1 this week and our NOA2 by the end of next month (well an expedite should mean that we could have it that soon right?) which would put us on track for being together properly in August. We have a wedding booked for the 14th of August next year, so I am hoping we can get married this 14th of August so our wedding will be a year to the day Chris also thinks this a very cool idea lol.

HD - Im really not that strong, but when this sort of thing hits you in the face and there isnt anything else you can you have to put on a brave face I am glad you and your SO sorted things out though, just remember, apologizing isn't a weakness

Fred- I know your in the waiting game with me, and as selfish as it sounds it does feel nice to have someone who knows what its like. In saying that I really hope you get out of this hell hole by the end of the month, I think I would be happier knowing you had completed this step of the journey then waiting around with me.

Got things sorted out now. Thank you everyone for the support. I have a hard time dealing with all the upcoming changes to my life. I will be giving up my job now that I am actually beginning to love where I am. My whole family who I have been taking care of for the last few years (I am a breadwinner) are all going to be left behind. My momma's not all that well too. I will be in a new place with no relatives close by. I have a daughter that I have to be strong for. I will be jobless. I will be left at home and I have not been doing that in at least 8 years. It's awful... BUt I need to be with dear fiance... I love him so much but at the same time, it's bringing out the monster in me.

Hi Guys i have not been here for a while had a whole lot going on, anway my interview is on Tuesday really really nervous and my court date is on the 30th so hopefully everything coming to an end and will be able to plan our future by the end of this month,

Good luck to everyone glad to see that some of us already have visas in hand and others about to have interviews, good luck with your new application Mara so sorry your papers got lost.
