NOTHING! No NOA2 so I wrote my senators (again) and this time I wrote the president.

I am sickened by the putting off and the fact they hire a huge call center in New Mexico only to shut people up who subscribe to their misleading information.

60 days have passed, now they want another 60 days just to reply to my service request. Unacceptable! I will contact my senators DAILY and the president DAILY until I get something out of these slugs!

I'm seeing people 4 months finished and here and I can't get my second damn notice!

I am so very frustrated with our country...dependent on campaign contributions to be able to get anything done...it's all about money power and influence. Constituents have no voice. Everyone sends canned letters. All deadlines have passed and no real answers.

yeah, I'm pissed off, depressed and unhappy. I just returned from Thailand without my fiancee. I thought surely 8 months she'd be here. I had to return without my love.

Our country is a mess and there's no accountability...everyone's go ttheir hands in everyone else' s pockets playing pocket pool. Forget the citizens...they just vote. They're in it for the money and power.

Soon as my kids grow up, I'll look at Australia (I understand they have better opportunities than we do now)...our country isn't what it used to be.

everyone's paranoid about the terrorists but they already won! Do something and watch the Americans over react and spend their budgets into oblivion. They'll win by our own over reaction and stupidity...Canada and Australia are smarter keeping their noses in their own business.....

I'm not happy with our government in the slightest. I was on the airplane with a guy who's been waiting 5 years. The Thailand embassy interviewer called his wife a liar, cheater and a #######. Apparently he can do this and denies it all. Government employees out of control with no accountability whatsoever. Reading the other interviews, it's this guys goal to make the applicant cry and break down at every interview. Loser government employee abusing his power...yelling at fiancees, calling them names in a culture that doesn't do either. At least I have her prepared for this loose cannon. And report him? Report to whom? Who cares? Who listens? I am embarrassed by our own country (and its propaganda)...ever read the other side of the "pirate"s story? I'd be pissed off, too if the caucasian nations were dumping nuclear waste in my waters and stripping my sea of all its food (but wait, we helped overthrow Somalia into the chaos it now is...just like we trained Osama, Saddam, Noriega and we never bombed Laos, either. (I'm not happy by our supposed land of the free....going abroad has opened my eyes...now I know why Americans aren't so popular anymore...because we want things one way)....

and I thought Iraq, Iran and the Pirates were all wrong...read these articles (why do they censor our own news)?

http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/Iraq/Ira...ar_vs_euro.html

http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/CLA410A.html

I asked USCIS about this guy and they claim it's his psychological training weeding out the scammers (gee, isn't' that OUR job)?

My cute little time counters have expired twice...that's how old I am to this site (and I shouldn't be...should be all done with a smile on my face

I guess it could be worse. ....Thailand has tanks and are gunning down protesters in the streets. Apparently the poor farmer classes can't demonstrate while the Thai princess funded the people who took over the airport and had it closed for a month.

I guess no country is what it used to be anymore. I'm jsut feeling distraught, depressed and unheard right now. I miss my other half so much, words cannot explain....

Hola Sofia!

Nice to have somebody from South America!! I am from Ecuador and my fiance is from Chile! yiipeee, que viva America del Sur!.

Listen, don't despair, I t will come, maybe they want to make sure your didn't come and overstayed, or did something illegal while you were here in the USA.

Keep us posted and good luck!.

This is my first email. we have been reading a lot about fiance visa so we decided to create and account here to have some words of support and receive answers to all the questions that we have. Im from Argentina and my fiance is from USA. We met in December 2006 while I was doing an internship in the USA. The relationship started to grow day by day, we moved in together and we have been dating for more than 2 years. We didnt want to do the fiance visa as was going to take very long and will make us be apart for months, but we have to cause we wanted to do things right after all this going back and forward.(when my visa expired, i came back and go back with my european passport, without a problem. I wanted to do it a 2nd time but they told me to go back and take a visa in my country.

The thing is, that we filed our cause in august 2008 and we havent heard from them. Its still received and pending since then. We have a lawyer that says that everything is fine, is the normal processig time, but we r freaking out. The USCIS website says 6 months is the normal time.. and we are entering the 8 months of waiting. We made an inquiry there also. My fiance has been coming to visit me in Argentina every 3 months since we started this process back in august and he is coming for his third time for Easter.

We dont understand why its taking so long and some cases are moving so fast is anything that can we do or contact besides sit and wait. is horrible to be apart from the person you love and that you have to prove your love.

Someone told us that the case was with an officer and we will hear shortly from vermont center. but, what is shortly for them????

Thanks for the time.

sofia

Mia have a safe trip! so as soon as you get here you are getting married?, you don't want to waist time just like us!.

Let me tell you that unfortunatelly my SO's grandma (he lives with her) is very sick with liver cancer, and yesterday she felt worse so maybe he will reshedule the flight for later, he wants to wait and spend some more time with her, I feel so sad and a the same time I am angry because I have waited so long for him to come and stay and now this is holding him, also I feel guilty of been selfish because I want him to be here so bad that I am honest to you, I'll rather hear him say, " don't worry honey I will say goodbye to my grandma and let somebody else take care of her and come to USA on the 18th".

Of course If something happens to her during these days I agree that he has to stay for the funeral, and then come asap, but he is thinking about waiting more time over there if she keeps in bad condition till friday, that's what I don't want cause I tell him that only God knows when she will part.

I know we have a lifetime to be together but at the same time I think, What if something happens to me or him and we are still apart?. Like what I read happened to Stephanie, that is devastating.

What do you guys think am I selfish and mean?.

Take care,

congrats on teh approvals!!! :)

HD when are you leaving????

I already have my ticket!!!!!!!! I am leaving next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

It is being a tad bit selfish, but who isn't? I definitely understand your feelings and would probably have the same if I were in your shoes. I've also had the thought you express above... but I never speak it out loud because I believe words have power.
