I-130 for Parents (Mom and Dad)

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

N400:
4.26.2013: Mailed N400 Packet

5.21.2013: Biometrics

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview

9.25.2013: Oath Ceremony

Oh Fred, i dont know what to say to you, this whole waiting sucks like hell :o its unbelievable, you're a great example how strong love between 2 should be and for your case now pending....as they say in a movie...the only thing we know for sure that nothing is sure....you stay strong and positive about this we're with you!!!

Oh you read my signature eh? hehehehehe. It's okay, 1 week to get one because it's lent in the PI, everything is closed. SO counting the weekend and the 2 days off it's a week. This is the final requirement they need and they will conclude the review. Atleast that's what the letter says. My SO's nbi clerance expires next month so they need a new one.

Oh hell yes I need to be strong, every step of this process is a test. To test your loyalty to your true love, a test to see how far you will wait and go, to test YOUR LOVE in general. Our love endured 14+ years, another 2 to 4 months of this won't kill us but make our love and relationship stronger.

My mom will be visiting my SO nextweek for some bonding time with her grand kids, haiiii i wish I can go, hehehe. Ish all good, a lot has happened, good things, we are not on AP anymore, we are just on review, we are at the final stages of the requirements and all they need is a new NBI clearance, so almost there. Takes a lot of balls and strength to be as positive as I can be huh? hehehehe. Theres always a light at the end of the tunnel. :)
