It should be with the USEM in Manila in the next 5 business days... And they would usually send out the letter in another 5 business days after receipt.

I-130 for Parents (Mom and Dad)

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

5.21.2013: Biometrics

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview

9.25.2013: Oath Ceremony

Please except my appoligies for not bein in touch, i have been too busy looking for a house to buy and it just takes too much time out of my daily life. I hope everyone is doing well. I have a news to share.

We got our visa this morning. :dance::dance::dance:

we - March,26 2008

Got engaged - July, 18 2008

Sent application (VT)- August, 22 2008

Package received- August, 25 2008

Check cleared - August, 28 2008

Recieved NOA1 - August, 30 2008

Nov-15 traveled to Pakistan to spend time with Irum

Jan-4 arrived back in USA after spend 7 weeks with Irum.

Jan-25 got approved notice online.

Jan-28 received NOA2 in mail.

Jan-29 NVC received

Jan-29 NVC Sent (wow that was quick)

Feb-04 Letter recieved from NVC.

Feb-05 State department confirmed over the phone that the packet 3 has been posted.

Feb-06 recieved packet 3 by mail today.

Feb-27 Packet 3 sent back to Islamabad embassy.

Mar-9 Recieved the interview date letter.

Mar-30 Interviewed and got the Visa (waiting on the passport)

April-2 Got the physical passport

April-16 Entered USA

Guess who's back! :D MOI!!!! yupiiii :dance: . I missed you people! :yes: indeed.

I see some good news that's excellent but I am sad no news for my buddy Freddy :crying: well I guess we need patience, at least the visa is approved and they cannot take that back right???. :unsure:

Congratz to Blonde Princess. Nice couple!.

Dani: I like your new picture at least I can put a face to the name. Thanks!.

Mia: When is your interview?. I wish you the best!. I was so nervous it was a horrible wait but everything is good now.

03/13/09 - We will fly to see Daddy Gary

03/16/09 - 1 PM Interview (Pray God he gets visa)

03/16/09 - 5PM INTERVIEW PASSED WOOHOO. Thank God.

03/25/09 - Visa on hand! he went to DHL office after phone call received.

04/18/09 - My Cuchi came, (NYC)a wonderful unbelievable moment!:)

04/20/09 - We applied for marriage licence. (Township Municipal Bldg Health Dept.)

04/23/09 - Licence on hand

04/29/09 - Applied for Social Security (He was in system!)

04/30/09 - Wedding day!!! Yeeebaa

05/07/09 - SS card in mail. "valid for work only with DHS authorization"

05/13/09 - Sent AOS paperwork.

06/16/09 - Biometrics Apptmt.

06/25/09 - EAD Card in mail!

06/26/09 - Letter saying case transfered to Cali.

08/08/09 - Residence Card in Mail! Yuuupiiiiiii.

THE END FOR 2 MORE YEARS.

March 30th - received SSN

April 25th - Married

April 27th - Changed name on SSN

May 12th - AOS paperwork sent

Aug 20th - Interview in Philly

Aug 21st - GC production ordered

Aug 24th - Welcome to the USA letter received

Aug 31st - Rec'd son's GC

Sept 2nd - Rec'd my GC ....all set for 2 years now

LIFTING CONDITIONS

June 20th sent I-751 to Vermont

June 25th received at Vermont.

June 27th NOA date

July 2nd Packet returned as section not filled in correctly---how stupid am I?!?!?

July 5th Packet sent back (overnight delivery) to USCIS with form filled in correctly

July 6th Packet received and signed for at Vermont

August 18th Biometrics Appointment in Philly........JULY 27TH EARLY BIOMETRICS DONE

Nearly 1 year later!!!
....received notification for my son to get biometrics done!(May 15th 2012)

May 11th 2012 Son's biometrics done early

June 2012 - Notice of lifting of conditions received

June 12th - texts- GC in production

June 13th - text- GC in post

June 15th - Received GC's!!!!!!

Can anyone help me with the preparation of our new affidavit of support please? I am slightly confused.

When we filed for the K1 visa my SO was employed and he earnt over the poverty amount so the filing of the affidavit was easy. He has now been made redundant (laid off) and so his income is obviously much less. He does own his own house though, so as this is an asset can he still file the affidavit or do we need to find a co-sponsor? I am panicking, we have got so far down the re-location road, my son has started school, I have got my SSN I DONT WANT TO HAVE TO GO BACK!!! :crying:

Oh Teekol so sad i was reading your first post about him losing the job and that you were not posting anymore, that's so sad and It is happening to a lot of people, I have two cousins that lost their jobs right now. Hang in there girl you will find a way!. Just be positive.

So as per Maliciant they require the taxes from 2008 only and they do not need to know your hubby is unemployed?? :wacko: . But I guess the unemployment check counts right?.
