Hi, I am in a nightmare with the taxes... I have been in the USA since september 2008 . I came here on a K1 visa. In my country I was working and I had income until september 2008 when I moved, but in USA I haven´t had any. Can I apply for the foreign earn income in the taxes? How I do the taxes this year...? If I do something wrong ( I don´t want but it´s possible because it´s not easy to do the taxes with a foreign income) and later I have penalties , can this affect my green card or removal of conditions( one of the questions is if I have had fines for breaking the law)?...Yes, I know I getting very stressed but I need help :help: .Thanks!!!!!

They don't really arrest you for not paying taxes. They will write a letter and say you did it wrong and send you a bill. If you owed massive amounts of money and didn't pay for years and years, then maybe you would be arrested. Not a problem with AOS.
