Does anyone have windows live messenger? we could get a chat room going and talk real time instead of posting.

I have it, but haven't used it in like forever. Anyone else???

Oh, men! It's okay...I don't know if I told you when my husband got the letter from the consulate saying they had his approval notice/petition...he sends me an SMS... I call him immediately. I'm like, "What was in the letter?" He's like, "I don't know." I was like, "Well open it!!!" He was like, "I'm not home now." I was like, "You didn't open it when you were home???" He says, "No, I was in a rush." I'm like :bonk::bonk::bonk:

Don't worry. They say all that, but you will get an NVC case number within about a week, maybe even less. Then the K3 will be sent over to the consulate a few days after that. It reaches the consulate in a couple of days. How long it takes THEM to contact your husband is anyone's guess. It's the AOS bill that took a little longer for us to get. Since we're ignoring that part anyway, it didn't really matter.

I forgot it was weekend party time!!

I'll included my VJ cake recipe

serves 1 (if your on VJ, you don't need to serve more than 1 unless you are very hungry)

Take cake mix of choice, pour a little into microwave plastic ware, add milk or soy milk. Stir. Microwave about a minute.

Take out. Eat.

Alternatives:

Add spoonful of peanut butter to middle and watch it melt when you split open your cake.

Oh I forgot to add I got a letter from NVC today saying they had sent my K3 to Albania. The letter is dated February 20th. My husband has had his packet since Monday.

How much mix? how much milk? I just bought a six pack of apple tarts from Omaha Steaks (got one a block away and it's 50% off weekend).

Small sized treat, half cup of mix and maybe one or two tablespoons of milk. Just mix together so it looks like regular cake mix. It's hard to mess up :lol:

I have Microsoft Messenger but I have no idea how to use it. My husband made me download it so I could chat with him in Italy and it never worked with his camera. Stupid boy couldn't figure out skype. Sorry, stupid, lovable boy.....

from the weekly thread, fatteh OMG i LOVE it. We had some after we got married and I had no idea what it was.. yummo!

I found a little arab market with a rest attached next door. "al watan" and it really is as good as the homeland food ;) Their fatteh is almost as good as what i had there. they also have THE_BEST pita bread, they make it fresh everyday :luv: I always get fatteh with lamb :salivating: I guess i know whats for lunch tomorrow heh heh

anyway,

how are all of our recently approved ladies and gentleman(progicalone) doing? how is everyone else? how is our "last one standing" doing? (F)

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.
