It wasn't murder though. From what I understand it was an accident - with some questions over the judgement employed afterwards. Not unlike claiming that William shatner "murdered" his wife because he called 911 before pulling her body out of the swimming pool.

Of course the oj example is interesting as it seems there is more hatred toward Ted than OJ. Surprising when you think about it.

In any event these are apples to oranges cases and don't lend themselves well to comparison outside of peoples preconceived ideas about those involved.

For some people it seems Ted is the real world equivalent of Emmanuel Goldstein.

I listen to Rush's show everyday. I have for nearly two decades, and I'm female, Muslim, a person of color. He's hardly as bad as you depict him to be. Liberals are FAR more angry and most of them are or have been druggies, too, so most of them can hardly criticize Rush with any credibility. He's far less of a racist than those who voted for Barry and fawn over him because he's Black, and the first Black president. What a joke!

He didn't murder anyone. He used poor judgement on drinking and driving and by not calling for help immediately after the accident and for trying to cover up his actions. Murder means intentionally killing someone. Perhaps you made the niwit statement.
