And you thought "Apple" was a bizarre baby name.

According to Latina, rapper M.I.A. has named her newborn baby boy "Ickett."

The boy was born Feb. 11. Before giving birth, she blogged: "MY EARLY STAGE LABOUR KICKED IN AROUND 2 AM MY BABY WAS BORN WEDNESDAY (FEBRUARY 11), HE IS HEALTHY, FINE, BEAUTIFUL AND THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER ON THIS PLANET, OF COURSE IM HIS MUM!!!"

The "Paper Planes" rapper famously performed "Swagga Like Us" with Jay-Z , T.I., Lil Wayne and Kanye West at the Grammys Feb. 8 -- the same day she was due.

See M.I.A. performing on the Grammys and more unforgettable show moments.

"Ickett" is the first child for M.I.A (real name: Mathangi Maya Arulpragasam) and her fiance, musician Benjamin Bronfman.

God I swear people don't think when they name their kids. I had a friend in high school, her older sister was in college and pregnant. When she had the kid, she decided to name her daughter after her favorite singer at the time. And so it came to be, that little Siouxsie Sullivan was born. Now she's a teen and I can remember her first day of school.....which was the same each and every year. Reading down the roll call, the teacher would then come to her name and say "Sooooo-xie Sullivan"..... "thats pronounced Susie ma'am, my mom was a hippy".

I think alot of these celebrities just compete for who can have the weirder baby name. Since most of these kids will grow up privileged anyway, the weird names will not likely be a hindrance for them than say your average La'Shanequa Latavia Jenkins.

Let's not even go into the 40 different spelling of Jasmin or Kaitlyn.

Sheep: Baa-ram-ewe, baa-ram-ewe. To your breed, your fleece, your clan be true. Sheep be true. Baa-ram-ewe.

MIA ripped this song off from The Clash in the way that Vanilla Ice did with David Bowe.

Joe Strummer is one of the old band members of Clash. This is a Clash song
